The point being made is that this event was written/suggested by a player. And that for some reason, the people I was discussing this with believed they had a more important opinion and that it should trump that of other players and/or server staff. This is why pointing out that =LSF= is just a player faction, equal to any other, and doesn't arbitrarily have any more influence than others, seemed relevant.
I am okay with you believing your faction should not participate. Everyone's entitled to their own opinion and way of playing the game. Perhaps I was misinformed and believed that you actively discouraged your players from attending in general, and I was a little annoyed at that. It happens.

They can use any logo or forum template from any faction or individual, by the agreement you signed when you first joined DiscoveryGC so long they give attribution and it's not used commercially.
