2. What exactly are you requesting?
A Crecy Destroyer to be given a Spec Op ID and Privateers IFF
(Spec Ops ID / Privateers IFF) (long term goal is to get a Resistance IFF)
This is what I have in mind:
Quote:A pilot carrying this ID is a Special Operative who:
-Can attack any ship in self defense or to protect an allied ship or base.
-Can demand cargo and credits from non-allied ships, and attack them if they do not comply.
-Can attack any Gallic Lawful and Gallic Quasi-Lawful ships, except transports
-Can fulfill any friendly/allied bounty or escort contracts, and can treat transports as combat targets when executing friendly/allied bounty/escort contracts against them.
Allowed ships: Crecy
ZOI: Leeds, systems directly bordering Leeds, Orkney
3. Exact name, identification and affiliation of the character:
Repulse (if approved it will be tagged LRF|Repulse)
BIS ID + IFF
4. Why is this request necessary for the continuation of this character's roleplay?
As the faction write up for the Leeds Resistance Forces explains, Hudson believes the time to act to save Bretonian Resistance forces in Leeds is now. Jonas Hudson has commissioned many vessels in order to enact a plan to hold out in Leeds as an SIS operative. With the BAF no longer able to get significant forces north of the front lines, local Resistance fighters (Privateers and Civil Defenders) understand they will need to fight on their own. That means using whatever they have available, and grabbing any cruisers they may be able to get their hands on. Hudson is able to bring his own due to his access to resources as an SIS agent. All of his ships and assets will be shifted over to serve the Resistance.
Hudson has always focused on the Leeds front, and has been an ardent enforcer of the Leeds embargo. He knows the system and surrounding systems very well and has accumulated enough assets to begin forming the core of a new military 'unit', a unified local Resistance force. It is his hope that more cruisers could be acquired for the rebel fleet they would like to build in the future as time goes on. (i.e., members would just SRP cruisers)
With more and more problems arising for Bretonia on now far off fronts, the forgotten battle in Leeds now has its chance to regain some momentum by taking advantage of the chaos to begin operating while Gallic forces are preoccupied in New London and the Omegas.
5. What short-term and long-term goals are you planing to achieve on this character?
To keep the cruiser I commissioned for BIS/SIS activities, and take it over under my own volition to operate it in the future as a Resistance vessel. The BP ID doesn't allow the ship class, so this is my solution. Also, it will allow us to RP around the 'goal' of the acquisition of cruisers. We will be at first seeking to establish ourselves, and slowly build a fleet (no higher than cruiser class likely) of '2nd hand' cruisers. (meaning this is part of what will become the faction MO, and other members would be encouraged to SRP 'oddball' cruisers for the faction, ships that fit in line, like Liberty Navy cruisers, or the Rogue destroyer, forming a ragtag fleet).
6. Provide links to the relevant forum roleplay. SIS Database Report 1 - A report regarding the 'reactivation' of a derilict station, which was only a decoy to make spies or observers think we were shipping supplies to Edinburgh, when it was in fact Leeds, to an entirely newly constructed set of bases.
SIS Database Report 2 - A report also containing an intelligence assessment regarding possible contingency plans to enact in the event Bretonia is defeated or simply driven too far from Leeds to help. The Top Secret field assessment 'reccommended' that we commission several SIS run Bretonian Destroyers as a back up force to the BAF. In truth, the ship was already commissioned as a part of the entire plan enacted by Hudson already, which has essentially been a 'black operation' to quietly re-establish a Bretonian presence in Leeds.
Emergency Briefing to Admiralty - A last minute official disclosure to the BAF regarding the project and bases was made just after Gallia's major advance into New London. With no reply, Hudson assumed it had been missed or purposely kept quiet. After some time, with the risk of New London being overrun, and the possibility of a surrender, he redacted the report and left a malicious program (not really, just a couple funny gifs) in the event the BAF wound up compromised from within, and the report fell into the wrong hands.
Tales of a Renegade - Jonas Hudson's RP story, although not about the cruiser, does provide character depth and the topic of the 'secret project' in Leeds is mentioned, as well as explanation behind the character's motives.
7. Provide a cliffnote/summary for the links provided above.
Denoted above in detail, Hudson has been reporting his activities as an intellgence agent for the SIS, although, not all of his activities were openly logged.
9. If you feel that you would like to provide us with character references, specify whom.
All of the SIS and some of the BAF Admirals...although some of they may not be happy with my efforts, they can attest that my character is real and well established.
