Earlier today, I transferred a very expensive bit of weaponry from one ship to another which DID have enough cargo space available.
When I clicked on accept, a message came up that the ship accepting the weapon was cheating and he was kicked. However, when I checked the hold, the weapon I had transfered was gone. I assumed it had gone over.
A minute later, I logged back on, only to find the weapon had not and had 'disappeared'. Spooky.
It's the second time and it's expensively prohibitive.
Any ideas?
Ensure that the ship receiving the piece of equipment is not, in fact, cheating is the best way.
Find someone else to test it with. (with a cheaper gun...)
Other than that, I don't know.

Ok, I am now officially ****** off.
I have just tried to do a transfer with another expensive piece of hardware and same again. Is there some way that some person in a position of power can have a look at this?
Maybe check my account or something?
I know but I'm getting desperate. Confirm that I am infact cheating or not?
I took Boss at his word and tried it with a lvl9 Buckshot. No problem. Tried it with a code and I'm cheating. Whats more the gun goes but when I re-logged, it wasn't there. This time I have proof so any help would be appreciated.
I have a screen of the ship with the code and also with the message that it's been kicked which means I couldn't have traded with it afterwards so what the hell is going on?
You could also try to drop the equipment in space, and loot it in with the other character. Or transfer it via someone else. They way you describe it, is as if you are using 2 computers, each with a different character, doing the transfer yourself.
@ LA-384.
Thats pretty much what was happening, My son was on one computer in his room, me on another in another room. We were doing exactly as you described. A direct transfer.
I think you may be right. Drop and tractor, but I am wondering why it's like that. Why is it that character?
Is it his ship?
Is it my sons ship?
Is it the gun class (lvl 10)?
Have I got something on my system that the server sees as a cheat?
I've calmed down now but I have to say it's bloody frustrating.
Same router so maybe thats it then. Either way, I'll just do the eject/tractor bit that was suggested. If that doesn't work, I'll have to try something else.
The weapons were code weapons, not Marsflyer ones.
