Yeah, borderline is there, exceptions can't be made if the rules regarding it are pretty clear, even if it's 1 minute missing from the requirement, Official Factions are obliged to meet the requirements, as long the current system exists.

Minus is that only official faction's roleplay is usually taken seriously by other factions when it comes to diplomacy and so.
That's a problem of people perception then. Fix yourselves first then.
Better to fix the rest of the community and the Staff: unofficial factions don't contribute to the story, and can't help further the development of their NPC faction.
"I don't want to put in effort to seek new ways to be active, so everything else should change to accommodate me."
That's what I've taken away from this statement. You're complaining because you're having a hard time meeting activity requirements in a quarterly system, because in three months you could not find something to do with yourself or in-game.
Come on, dude.
My activity looks fine.
There's a bigger picture here. I'm sure Core can keep itself alive without issue. I'm concerned for the factions that are struggling. I don't want to end up playing a game where Core is the only official faction left.

How's about you uhhh don't dodge the topic and instead present solutions to this problem you seem to be having?

I sadly have no solution on how to make people log and interact with other people on factions nobody seems to care about. I don't even have a solution for making people not log off whenever we log L\- and attempt to interact with enemies. so... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
People taking everything personally instead of looking at big picture and proposing solutions for all concerned factions that don't have sufficient representation.

Yeah, irritates me to no end when I try to suggest something constructive and people come in and go "OH WELL YOU ONLY CARE ABOUT YOURSELF". Makes me consider alt-posting.

Except I didn't mention The Core. I stated that in his argument the only thing I could take away from it was that he was having a hard time meeting activity requirements. You went ahead and got some nice pictures of The Core and Aux activity trackers, which had nothing to do with my statement whatsoever.
I also didn't ask a question. You dodged the topic which has been presented every time these activity checks come up, usually by the same people - "This system doesn't work."
Okay. So it doesn't work.
But it does.
???
So present a new system. If you don't have one, then why bother discussing it at all? You can shout that there's a problem all you want, but if nobody is going to provide solutions then it's a waste of time and text space tbh.
That's why you stick to unofficial factions. Less things to care about, more freedom you have. Only exception is that you can't really control things in rp as official factions can, people won't get you serious as an unofficial faction compared to official. It's hard to solve this, viewing the fact we nearly have more factions than actual players which is kind of interesting. You've come here to have fun. Right? Well, I will cheer you up. You can have fun in an unofficial faction, as well as being an indie. You're not restricted from participating in interactions between players. Right? If you want more rights, you need to be diligent in order to accomplish your goal of converting your unofficial faction into an official, same as to keep an official faction. Nobody has constant motivation here and diligence.

There used to be a requirement that SRP holders make some monthly/quarterly reports of what they've done over the past month/quarter so that they show they've actually contributed to the server meaningfully. Perhaps something like that should exist for official factions as well? Of course that would be extra work for both sides, but maybe factions would be more motivated to do things and write roleplay that way, who knows...
