Now that the wind has calmed, I want to say that I really had fun during this event. At every second of both rounds, despite having been killed a couple of times.
I refuse to judge any other aspect. Life's already too stressful not to enjoy this great game.

So thank you all for organizing and playing it.
I agree, although I personally didn't attend the second event due to the crapstorm I ended up getting/being in the middle of from a certain OFL or two (not naming names). That said, I had a good time overall, and I hope that we can keep achieving what we did in the first event (didn't get a count for the second one): a full server. That is one thing that I truly love to see.
I don't dare join the conversation on forums about who did what wrong in either of the events, as that will just end up in more work for the poor moderators, because people around here seem to enjoy arguing in a public thread rather than via PMs. So one side got obliterated, or an event had to be re-run because of errors in communication, oh well. It's a game, guys. Don't take it so darn seriously. I would prefer to have Discovery be a place to come to at the end of a long, hard day and just relax, do some roleplay with friends, go shoot stuff, depending on my mood, etc.
Point being, please, just try to get along and enjoy the game.
As per result of the event "The Great Hunt", the Royalist Victory outcome (Saboteur’s Escape Pod returned to Battlecruiser Carillon, information concerning secret project remains secure.) is verified and acknowledged. However, due to the problematic reception of story event outcomes, any and all future official story events will have their mechanics live tested in lower stakes events prior to their official debut.

Wasnt this more or less the lesson people were supposed to learn after the glorious Helios event?
