You can change the color of your crosshair to make it more visible, by editing some files. https://the-starport.net/freelancer/foru...mpost48887
I haven't done it in a while, so it might trigger the anti-cheat, but I doubt it.
I recommend using different colors to give it more contrast. Not too bright, due to bright systems blending with the cross, also not too dark.
In your launcher, go to "Game Settings".
There input this in your "Optional Arguments": -color-white=8E0000 -color-red=8E0000 -color-green=8E0000 -color-pink=8E0000
Make sure there is NO spacing before the first "-color-white=" and only ONE spacing between each element.
Now go to this website and pick the colors you want: https://htmlcolorcodes.com , copy the code and replace the "8E0000" with your color.
I recommend using the same color for all 4.
After having the code above in the launcher, re launch your game. Go to F1, Options, Controls, User Interface and Keybind "Toggle HUD Color" to a button of your choice.
Now you only will have to use that button to toggle it on and off before a fight (press twice for the first time).

cool i will try it, i have tried to change the gamma, but i don't see that i want too see. And editing ini.file i have already had a disastrous effect in my game, just a little reminder to hurt me, 5 billions 1 base core 2/3 and 5 bs cau6, multiple *cloaking* multiple weapons 1 cau8 and my entire fleet and all of it to have mined in t29 some ore that nobody mine (28000) and then I forget more. I forgot the 5 or 6 years spent in the game
@NoMe This is the absolute best solution to the problem. DO NOT edit any files or you'll trigger the anti-cheat and end up in Bastille!
