Brig, Battleship Rio Grande, Colorado System
24th April, 826 A.S.
Lieutenant Commander David Nelson walked down the corridor to the brig. As he approached the brig the guards opened the door leading to a smaller corridor where the cells were. Approaching the last cell the guard standing next to it opened the door and the young Lieutenant Commander walked in. The air in the brig of Rio Grande was like a winter breeze, always in motion, moved by the fans near the cieling and cold enough to make little clouds escape the helmet of the guards. The room's interior was simple, some chairs, a table a lamp. And on one of the chairs woman, Amy of the Liberty Rogues. She was only escorted here minutes ago. Shortly after a guardian docked with the Rio Grande. The lieutenant Commander sat down facing Amy. Playing a datapad on the table at the same time. He did not say anything. Just sat there looking into Amy's eyes. The favorite part of an interrorgation. The silence. At least that is what David thought. One could argue that the best part is when the person who is being interrorgated finally talks, and maybe that is true, from the perspective of productivity. But to David, this wasn't the case. Altough he liked when the suspect broke and started talking, however, the battle that takes place in the first few moments of an interrorgation, the one wich is fought without words or firearms. The battle where two minds clash. This was his favorite part. The silence continued.
**Amy Sit's behind bars await for something to happen, when she leans into one of the other cells, ** Hey, When do we get our one phone call. And are they allowed to after you told your friend to blow'em up? **She leans back, hearing footsteps coming down the condor. Watching what can only be assumes as the Navy Detective. ** Wow, for a large battleship seems you got hear quicker than my wife, on our honeymoon. **She leans back into the chair ready to go back and forth with the Navy/Officer/Agent.**
Acting as if he did not hear Amy's words David simply took the datapad and started to read something from it. The datapad contained among other things Amy's criminal records. After finishing it he looked back on Amy.
"So. Amy..." Drake started, sign of emotion coming from his voice or on his face.
"Obstructing the course of justice, fleeing from an officer when stopped, inciting violence, taking part in oragnized crime in the organisation known as the liberty rogues, damaging goverment property, assaulting an officer of the law and the best part, human trafficking, drug trafficking." David dropped the tablet back onto the table.
"It doesn't really matter how we look at it. The best case scenario a lawyer can possibly make is reducing the charge of murder to manslaughter, provided that you cooperate and that further investigation done by the LPI doesn't reveal more." Drake stood up and walked behind Amy's chair.
" Thanks to you a lot of people died. Enough to get you into jail for the rest of your life. Wich is going to be a short one if i convince the judge to sentence you to death. But then again, that would be too easy. How about spending the rest of your days on LPI station huntsville, more commonly known as The Wall."
He leaned closer to Amy. And with a calm and cold voice he started whispering into Amy's ear.
"Or maybe i should just torture you here untill you start begging for your death? I'm sure those innocents aboard your ship who are now dead thanks to you would love to see you being tortured for the rest of your miserable and useless life."
*Amy sits quietly as she listening to David name a lot of here charges* Nice, It seems you got the wrong woman hun. Well all but the Assaulting an officer part. *She fiddles with the data pad,* Tell you what. *She puts on a lovely smile* Let me make my one phone call, and if you really wanna get the Police involved, don't you think i'll be hard to talk to them with a sewn shut jaw? *She slightly turns her head as he whispers in her ear* Cute, you must get all the Women, at the Bar, after work, also what no mandarin rights?
David walked back the chair and sat down once again facing the prisoner. "Actually. All of the above are the crimes i witnessed and have direct and solid evidence. I caught you with a ship full of people and the survivors of your ship's destruction confessed that they were aboard your ship against their will. In fact they said you were taking them to malta to be sold as slaves. You decided to flee when i first noticed your ship, only stopping when i caught you and you had no other choice. Therefore you obstructed the course of justice by delaying the process. You called backup from your friends and asked them to attack and destroy my and other navy vessels in the area therefore you were inciting violence."
He simply takes the datapad out of Amy's hands.
"Wich your friends did. Along with you. So you once again broke the law by assaulting officers. The result of your careless actions were the death of many people aboard your vessel and damaged goverment property in the form of navy ships. The only thing wich would i have no direct evidence for is drug trafficking. But i guess i'll leave that to the LPI. I'm sure they have more info regarding you. Your only choice here is to confess and cooperate in wich case i'll make sure you won't get torn apart by the xenos in prison."
*She Giggles and leans back abit* Your "Law's are just Lose guidelines to me. Aside from the Destruction if my vessel I my job was what I wanted, *She smile* If that's all your got on me, wanna get this over with and call your Boy's in the Light blue? I would LOVE to get back home to my wife, after I serve of course. Officer. *She puts her hands up waiting for the handcuffs*
