I am contacting you today in the name of Mister Dean, Chairman of Interspace Commerce.
He would like to talk to the board of directors to propose a business arrangement. Interspace has seen your financial institute work within Sirius but of course in this big sector one can only get so far without working together. I am already allowed to tell you that Interspace would like to invest into your bank possibly acquiring a major part of it, should that be desired by both parties.
I've spoken to our board and they're quite receptive to an acquisition by Interspace Commerce. They're expecting our stock prices to go up by 63% if this deal goes through after all. We've gone ahead and contacted valuation firms so that we may establish the price of acquisition. We look forward to working with you and becoming a division of Interspace Commerce.
Todays transmission is from Michael Dean's office in Newark. He's seated in a small lounge in a comfortable setting. An oversized window was behind him so one could see the traffic in the busy orbit area through the wavering deflector shields.
"Miss Wardwell, it is truly a pleasure getting to know you." He'd say with a professional smile.
"I'd love to invite your board to Newark to discuss this in detail. There is surely many questions to be had and of course we should get to know our future cooperation partners."
"Though I'd like to give you an early offer even before you arrive here." He lifted one of his hands lightly and the transmission would show a number: 14,500,000,000
"Albeit that is only taking numbers in account, not the value of your personnel or connections. So I'll make you a different offer." A soundless snap for dramatic purposes changed the number: 17,000,000,000
"As you see, Interspace can be a generous partner. And you can utilise your connections to the fullest with backing of this size. I'll look forward to having you here."
The board of directors has voted. We look forward to renaming our bank to the Interspace Commerce Bank of New York. I think we'll get along just fine with one another.
Sincerely,
Rhianne Wardwell, Managing Partner,
IC| Interspace Commerce Bank of New York
