Greetings, esteemed members of the Rheinland Bundestag,
I'd like to apologize for a bit of radio silence - our corporation has undergone a stringent top-down reorganization, and that facilitated some loss of contact to our esteemed partners throughout, including those governments we partner with such as your very own. In this reorganization we also took stock of our important inventory, and came across a difficulty that we'd like to probe a solution for.
In short, our security forces make use of a variety of technology. Being somewhat detached from the governments of both Liberty and your own Bundestag to facilitate the independent, free trade necessary to keep all the houses of Sirius fed, we don't necessarily have access to the house-specific security equipment that our fellows in USI or Daumann might. All of this is in service of saying that, quite some time ago, we negotiated a deal with the Gas Miners Guild to acquire some of their vessels in service of protecting our food convoys, in return for the production and servicing of biodomes for their civilian population.
We are unfortunately aware of the fallings out between the Bundesrepublik and the Gas Miners Guild, and are fully willing to cooperate in the law - but we would prefer to do so while also not compromising the security of our trade vessels. I'm not sure what would help to grease the wheels of bureaucracy here, but if there is something we can do that would permit the continued use of these vessels and their equipment, even in some limited capacity, then we would be most grateful.

Guten Tag, Sehr geehrter C.E.O. Stevens, staatssekretärin Caspers hier again.
The Rheinland government discussed your request and relevant parties in the Bundestag were also asked about their opinion on this matter and possible support for any law exceptions for your corporation, but it turned out the majority is against making any when the subject are ships of the Gas Miners Guild. One of the current main state enemies which is attacking our law enforcement and even trading ships, intruding our territory repeatedly while doing so. It would not be gut signal to our citizens to show that the firm stance against the aggressor is actually not that firm.
I would actually point out that it could also harm your reputation within Rheinland when your corporation would be seen using them in the Bundesrepublik in the current situation, because people would assume after hearing such information you are indirectly supporting the Gas Miners Guild by purchasing their ships because they would not know you started using them before current conflict started.
Also, considering the number of ships in question, we are sure the issue can be solved by assigning mentioned ships to routes which do not lead through Rheinland territory, for example to service your customers and provide escorts in Liberty. Alternatively, you can sell them and obtain ships manufactured by some civilian neutral producer.
It is unfortunate that you must deal with complications which are caused by actions of others. But we have to remind that it was not us who shot first and started the conflict between the Bundesrepublik and GMG, which resulted in current restriction imposed on everything related to the guild.

Greetings, Staatssekretärin Laura Caspers.
Synth Foods, Inc., understands the reasoning of the Bundestag and will comply accordingly. As the decision was first made we had our non-compliant vessels disassembled and shipped to our Riverside operation in Liberty, where they have been waiting for a decision made by the Bundeskabinett ever since. As a decision has such been rendered, we will re-introduce them in limited service within the Liberty sector alone, so long as there are no objections from the Bundestag about such action.
We will see about introducing civilian and BHG vessels into escort service within Rheinland, although we have had some difficulties in managing the logistics of such a matter. In the meantime, I sincerely apologize if our unprotected vessels cause a more significant strain on the needs of the Federal Police.

Guten Tag again, Sehr geehrter C.E.O. Stevens.
There is no reason for the Rheinland government to have objections against the use of ships which were obtained from the Gas Miners Guild evidently long before the current conflict and will be used outside of the Rheinland territory.
