Greetings Allied HQ's,
I'm messaging to inform all of you that I've recently established a Privateer based 'paramilitary' force in Leeds called the Leeds Resistance Forces, and we've accomplished quite a bit over the last several weeks as far as furthering the cause here. Our main goal has been to subert Gallic occupation forces in any way possible, but our activities have been mainly in the form of supply.
Using enlisted cvilian ships, we've brought in tens of thousands of units of military supplies to Leeds, and brought out thousands of refugees, with only a few minor setbacks. I can grant special access to our database to a representative of any party wishing to see our records. We offloaded supplies from parties such as the BMF, BAF Merchant Navy, Junkers Congress, and a variety of independent suppliers. We have mananged to keep a small force of freighters well trained to keep supplies flowing to the surface, as well as build up our own Privateering 'Security Forces' on the ground. They are of course at the BAF's disposal, but my hopes are that with BAF and BMM assistance, we can secure another unoccupied mine shaft near the current BAF Resistance Base to build our own underground hangar base.
Some of you may know already, that I started out privateering, and worked for Bretonian Intelligence for some time. During that time I secretly constructed a set of Core 1 Modular bases in secluded part of the system. I was hesitant to disclose them to anyone because I wasn't sure who I could trust. They are equipped for various functions, and are at your disposal for use as a safe port, and I believe some parties in the Admiralty may have had some inclination about them. Their original purpose was as a listening post and fallback position. I used them for espionage and launching attacks on Gallic supply lines. We in the LRF have used them for the safe transfer of incoming supplies to the surface, and outgoing refugees. They are fully equipped with shield generators and backed up by full compliments of weapons platforms.
Additionally, I have been conducting various operations to keep the fight up against Gallia, and one program included a secret research vessel that I commissioned as an intelligence asset. Although we did not develop any weapons ourselves yet, we were able to exchange a decent amount of data I had gathered for an NEMP weapon on the black market. Its now what I preferred, but I these are desparate times.
Although I've considered keeping this weapon ready for retaliation against a Gallic 'purge', in the event the allies are seeking an opportunity to counterattack, we would be willing to strike at a High Priority Target such as Issoudun Drydock in neighbouring Edinburth from behind the lines. I have already tested target aquisition of the station. It is my hope that this would cause a temporary, yet exploitable, weakness in the Gallic war machine.
But, I would only be able to commit to this if I have the backing of the Armed Forces and Navy. It may require a slight 'distraction' to expose the station and draw out the Battleship LaRiche and its support ships that patrol nearby. If an allied assault group could be mustered to attack the station in conjunction with the NEMP strike, that would give the distraction I need. And heck, a direct hit might even weaken the station enough to destroy it, if a conventional attack can land any critical hits.
We have held the lines for some time, and Bretonia has strengthened its southern border region, but it seems that time may be running out for the chance to counter attack and save New London from being overrun. I offer the use of our local Resistance's assets to help with that in any way.
