I am Trevor Westbrook, Minister of Defense for the Crayter Republic. In the past, I'm sure you've dealt with my predecessor Daniel Garvey, and while I wanted to make my first call to you be a hardy introduction, I'm afraid business is at hand.
Approximately 52 minutes ago as of this transmission, Crayter received a message from local forces in Tau-44. The local Fourth Octavarium Fleet commanders had picked up an idling Gallic warship in orbit of Singapore shipyard (the guncam image of which I will link here). While the Royalist warship was removed, it begs the question of why it was allowed to moor with the IMG installation at Singapore.
While I'm aware that the IMG and Crayter haven't had an easy relationship recently, I would still like to remind you that the Tau-44 system is still sovereign space of the Republic, and as such we look down on those that allow enemies of the state to roam freely, and especially in the case here dock on installations freely. The ship in question, R.N.S. Pali of the Royal Navy secondary, may not be an officially crewed vessel of the main Royalist task forces, but even this cannot be excluded.
I'd like an explanation of this incident from the IMG. Crayter will not move for drastic action, as this was a one-off incident with an independent Royalist warship, but anything further may lead to us being forced to take action to secure the system from Royalist incursions. In addition, the Octavarium Fleet is being kept abreast of the response from the IMG here.
I look forward to hearing your reply.

First off, apologies from the Guildmastery for not being able to respond in person. The Omegas have their full attention at the moment, and rightly so, if I may say.
Minister, the IMG does not directly support nor does it have the support of any of the Houses of Sirius. We try to keep our affairs detached from inter-House politics, and conduct business as best we can. That said, the closest...group...to a House that we support is yours. From the Colonial Remnant to the Crayterian Republic, the IMG has always been a staunch ally of the CR. It is disappointing to find out that this is now a one-sided affair. While we had hoped that the Republic would take responsibility for the renegade Olympia battlegroup, we instead see politicians pushing the blame around and doing nothing to remedy the situation. At the end of the day, the Republic was the one who recruited and trained those soldiers. The Republic built those ships and manufactured the munitions they used to attack an ally of the Republic. We had hoped that the Republic we were allied with would come to our assistance. Instead, we receive nothing from you; neither aid nor apology. Meanwhile, support pours in from organizations across Sirius both from those with less means as well as those with a poorer relationship with the IMG than you.
With regards to the Gallic warship, I am sure that as Defense Minister, you are well aware of the situation in the Taus. I believe that you are aware of the state of the Guild's paramilitary, or at the very least you should have a rough idea. However, in the unlikely event that you do not, let me tell you now that most of the Guild's assets have been pulled away to deal with the Bretonian situation. We have suffered losses. Yes, we do have assets in the Taus to deal with one Gallic warship. No, we do not have the assets to deal with the potential fallout, especially when we have just been stabbed in the back by Crayterian and Bretonian forces. Furthermore, we have just lost one shipyard. If someone wants to idle near another shipyard, well, as long as they are not attacking it, we really could not care less. You know we have already had installations boarded by Gallia in the past. We still operate them under Gallic threat. Should Gallia decide to follow the Bretonians' footsteps, we are royally *****, no pun intended.
I hope this explanation will be sufficient for you, Minister. I hope to hear from you soon.

I'm aware of the IMG's position. While I personally didn't have a stake in any of the drama involving Aland (which on that note you have my sympathies), my position is one of organizing and maintaining cohesive defense for the Republic. As such, I must state, as a Minister has to, that the diplomatic issues of our relationships would be better off aimed at the Foreign Affairs Ministry.
However, as I've stated before Crayter has just governing rights to the entire system. While we can understand the IMG's position in circumstances such as Holman and Java, two installations very well under occupation by the Gallic Crown, Singapore is within the bounds of the Republic, and by extension the full force of our northern fleets. As such, any major Gallic incursions into the system are tactically impossible, leaving the IMG in a secure location on the far end of the Sumatra Cloud. While we'll accept that these situations are few and far between, each one must still be taken into account for the safety of the people of Crayter.
Regardless, your statement on the behalf of the IMG is quite sufficient. Please understand that my attitude towards this matter is purely for the security of all who reside within the Tau-44 system, including the IMG at Singapore. It's not on our bucket list to continue to pressure those we've considered close, and I personally want Singapore to remain what Java and Holman cannot be. Should the IMG require the Military's aid, I'll be here. Until then, be well.
For those we left behind.
