I already went over the SNAC nerf in another thread. The SNAC was a stopgap solution to an engine problem that hung on after the engine problem was resolved in large part due to the fact that we didn't know at the time how to safely delete stuff. Now it's too late to delete it despite it being a horrible weapon from a balance standpoint, so we wrote a new engine feature to attempt to make it possible to balance. It's better to balance now than it was before but the core of the problem is still there (namely, it exists, and bombers are just large VHFs with instagib death weapons because capital ships are improperly designed with respect to the divide between capitals and subcapitals).
Anyone is welcome to PM me about it but they will get the same explanation that I have already given several times. Plus I suspect complaining about it without an audience is nowhere near as fun.

But it literally killing the server. You shoot at the NPC GB and the server is shutting down. That's not funny. It is a real problem

As soon as I have some free time I will test it. Gonna enjoy the s**t out of it to crash the server if it's still bugged
More like remove SNAC, scale bombers up to small gunship size, drop their thrust speed to 150, turn bombs into timed AoE weapons, and move most of their tank into their shield
As much as I hate ya for the balance plugin , a complete rework of the bombers would be nice. Would bring some diversity to the mod.
