Captain Willis Osborn, formally of the Auxiliary fleet,
I am pleased to announce your posting has been finalized. After a brief, yet hectic refit, the H.M.S Ehrgeiz, formally a Mako class Battleship of the Core, is ready for service, and is moored to Aland Shipyard. Your crew will receive similar notifications, and are to be transported to Aland post-haste.
I understand the ship will take some getting used to, but its capabilities I am told are considerable. Detailed orders will be provided in due course, but for now, get acclimatized to the ship, and make your way closer to the front, so you are ready to be put to immediate use.
Regards,
Commodore John Redmond

Commodore,
I am glad to hear I no longer have to wait, although the time did give me a chance to say goodbye to the Swiftsure. She will serve her new captain just as well, I am sure.
It is also a great honor to be moved up into the main fleet and be given this rank, as well as the Ehrgeiz. My crew will make a quick departure for Aland along side me, I will see to it. We have all had enough of a rest and are eager to get back into the war.
You will have a report on your desk about the ship's performance as soon as we take her out of drydock, Sir.

Captain Willis Osborn of the Ehrgeiz,
Your posting is just days old, but we immediately have a mission for you. Take the Ehrgeiz to Cortez and link up with the Harlow Battlegroup to assist in taking down the Bethany, which has been harassing our supply lines for months.
Harlow is understrength, and will serve as long range support for the Yukon and Alma fleets, as such the Ehrgeiz is very well suited to the task. Do as much damage to the Gauls without taking any yourself.
Regards,
Commodore John Redmond

Captain Willis Osborn, H.M.S Ehrgeiz,
The operation in Cortez was a success from initial assessments. The admiralty sees no further combat operations in that theater for the time being, as such you are to proceed to your next assignment.
A central location is advised - as such, you are to be stationed near Kensington, New London, with quick deployment options for Newcastle and Tau 31. Conduct flaking movements on the advancing column from the nearby Dover field - your ship is effective at hit and run, and extremely good at navigating asteroid fields, an advantage not shared by our foes, or so I am told.
Tau-23 deployment is possible in the most extreme scenario, you are however a guest in that system, do you understand?
Don't forget to stock up on fresh tea from Curacao.

Commodore,
Curacao and it's tea is safe, our forces have seen to it. I will make sure some of the fresh tea finds it's way to you with haste.
The victory in Cortez was a major one, as I am sure you know. The Ehrgeiz has seen some testing although admittedly we were forced into longer repairs due to our still lack of experience with the ship's overall design.
As you have seen fit we will move to the aid of Ottawa and Macduff, as well as their fleets. I will be on the lookout for any operations within hostile territory, but will not risk the ship and the crew easily.
