As far as I'm aware, that request was ignored by the BAF|. There were plenty of LABCs in use during the Aland crisis, so this argument about using them against the wishes of the manufacturer is moot.
Second, I personally don't see any issue with this. It's a ship on an ID that can use it at over 10%. If this was an issue that the BAF| wanted to fix that badly, they'd have done it after the OFL IDs were split. It's not ruining any Bretonian RP as far as I'm aware, so I frankly don't see why it should be an issue.
Shoot all the onions, Kalh. There's a Lone Star medal waiting to be claimed.
Its highly suspicious for years indies had this cell and when I do some RP there is suddenly a problem. I have had this ship for a month and done good rp around it. I do hope the GM's dont take the ship/cell away considering I broke no rules. Any restrictions on the ship to fight only Gallia would also hinder the characters RP as it is already established the Cambridge is supporting the LSF in bering. I have done good rp, and I ain't defecting it at all dont worry.

Maybe because nobody has made it a problem until you did.
If there was a written statement posted saying indies cant use the ship please link it. If not then I was not the problem. You are.
I'm not an advocate of removing any cells. I personally think it's silly for both LN and BAF to have each other's capital ships at 90% or 100% (depending on ID) but I don't think the removal of cells is the solution to one outlying vessel.
This said, I don't like people who see a ship and want to become a snowflake vessel, make it, then try to justify it after the fact as was done for the Cambridge. If there was roleplay leading up to the ship's existence within Liberty, say way back before the wars or some other example, then sure. I can see the Liberty Navy having such a ship. But instead it was just made and given justification after the fact. The reason for the argument to take away cells is due to you showing that people can not be responsible enough to show a thread of reasoning. If this is the right call to make, I don't think so.
Regardless, this is the problem you caused. At least own up to it and don't deflect your poor choices on others.

How can you say that when you have an SRP gallic battecruiser with a purple cloud effect and tentacles for lights. Your the epitome of snowflake ships.

Because it did not start that way, nor did I intend for it to go that route. Lucas Gerald, the actual character behind the Vatan, was the Directeur of the GRP and that was my only intention for that character and for the ship. Due to the following of the character's background and influence and interactions with other characters, namely K'Hara, Tundra, Outcasts, and others, it came to a point where the story of Lucas Gerald, and the Vatan, had to evolve. This story has been going on since roughly 2012.
Where as the Cambridge popped into existence and justification for it's being there did not involve anyone else and entirely made up.
Vasko's defection RP is the best I've ever read, despite only being a farce and not real defection. And despite me not having read most of it, although I did read some other defection RPs.
