Hanako is the grieving daughter of single mother who gave birth and raised her on Kyushu, most of her time on Kyushu is unknown to us except the few key parts she told us. Her hatred for the male gender is significant due to her father leaving them while Hanako was just a baby, forcing them into a life of poverty and hard labor in the Kyushu rice fields. Kusari Police brutalized her mother and killed her, Hanako's mother had taught her patience and pacifism. But in the pain of her loss she walked the path of vengeance. Butchering the men responsible for her mother's death and lying in wait for their fathers to come looking for them, watching them grieve for their lost heirs as she had grieved for her mother, before picking them off without mercy in the light of the moon. The next few years she spent on Kyushu she described to us as Lady Matsuda allowing her the revenge she so desperately craved, murdering men and their sons wherever she found them, terrorizing the corrupt of the planet, blowing up several brothels that forced their women to work as slaves and giving her stolen profit to those that were forced to labor in the fields to feed their children scraps leftover by the rich and powerful. Eventually she found one of our sisters on the surface and that is where her initiation took place, her mind finally freed from it's hate filled shackles she began following the teachings of Lady Matsuda, serving our Lady as our Lady permitted her vengeance. She serves the Golden Chrysanthemums with every breath, defending her sisters fiercely and slaying the enemies of Lady Matsuda without mercy, and with extreme prejudice wherever they may be. A life without Lady Matsuda would be no life for Hanako at all.
Born on New Tokyo. Aya was the youngest daughter of Ishikawa Hayate and his wife Keiko, who died giving birth to Aya. Hayate remarried shortly after to Izumi. She had an older brother, called Shin, who was her father's heir and a younger half-sister called Masako. Her father was a Samura board member, which made her enjoy a luxurious lifestyle and she was arranged to be married to Saito Daisuke, son of a Samura executive on Honshu and one of her father's friends. But on her wedding day, she was stabbed in the neck by Masako in a jealous rage and went into a coma for 2 years. Here she encountered a Golden Chrysanthemum who was also a patient in the hospital. After initiation into the ranks of the Golden Chrysanthemums, Aya quickly rose through the ranks, becoming a dedicated follower of Matsuda, but also becoming disgruntled by the increasing moderation of the Golden Chrysanthemum movement. In her worship of Matsuda as her paradigm, she decided to take up Matsuda's path and quickly had a sizable following herself. It was not long before the gen'an, the original plan, movement was born.
Born in a prison colony on planet Miura to unknown parents, Her name is taken from a Chrysanthemum prisoner who took care of her when she was found abandoned in the mines. Her adoptive mother raised her as her own and tought her about the outside world and the teachings of Matsuda. But this would not last as in her teens she watched her adoptive mother die to the effects of radiation poisoning from the uranium ore. Being alone again, Misaki had to fend for herself once again. The extremely harsh arctic climate of the planet, combined with the constant threats, turned Misaki into a hardened, but unstable young woman.
In 823 a raid on the mining facility caused some of the prisoners to escape, Misaki among them. Having no place to call her home, she decided to follow in her mother's footsteps and went from place to place, seeking the Golden Chrysanthemums, stealing what she needed in order to survive, until she met Ishikawa Aya on Roppongi and joined the Gen'an Cell.
An experienced transport captain, Rin worked as one of the few female Kishiro transport captains until she was demoted to a desk job for refusing her superiour's advances and later fired for passing the age, where she was no longer considdered pretty enough to have around the office.
Rin faithfully serves the sisterhood as revenge against Kishiro, by commanding captured Kishiro transports like she used to in her younger years. She hates Kishiro more than Samura because of her personal grudge against them, but she admires their ships.
Airi Hirose was adopted by foster parents at a young age,she never got to know her real parents.Like her older sister Akahana. Her father died at a young age, leaving her with her mother only to look up to. During the teenage years her sisters and her distrust towards the lawful authorities and male dominance in Kusari grew more and more. After protesting against the government they got imprisoned, where they heard rumors about the Golden Chrysanthemus and wanted to join them. Accepted position within Gen'an Cell, May 826 A.S. She proved herself worthy to the Gen'an cell and quickly was promoted to the rank of Taisa.
Mariko is a graceful, artistic, but deceptive woman. As a young girl she began her training as a maiko and later became a geisha. Her main art is her skill of the shamisen, but she is also adept in song and dance. She has a very strong charisma that makes her popular within the Golden Chrysanthemum ranks.
As a geisha, she has a natural talent to manipulate men. She mainly joined the Chrysanthemums because her elder sister was already a member and she wanted to follow into her footsteps. Instead of using her arts to entertain the men, she now uses them to support the Sisterhood.
Yuuko is a gunboat captain that is respected by her allies and feared by her enemies. Life has not been very kind with her, she doesn't however give up her fight to bring an end to the discrimination towards women in Kusari.

Background:
Michiya is a very skilled pilot, especially when it gets down to transports and freighters. She got her skills from all the distance she covered with her father on their smuggling/trading trips. Formerly a member of a PMC, he left them after his wife was killed in action, in order to protect his own daughter from the same faith. Michiya took after her old man and couldn't stay from trouble for too long. Between high-risk smuggling, kidnapping VIPs, illegal racing, assassinating targets of opportunity and grand theft, she did it all. Eventually she crossed paths with Misaki and was initiated into the Gen'an. Michiya remains true to the traditions and because her rank allows it, she is often seen with a her golden katana on her back. However, that is not the only weapon she carries. While the Katana is not always present on Maruso, her dual golden Kunais are. Both the Kunais and the Katana are not actually golden, but rather, made of a special alloy that has a finish similar to that of gold. Some say this special alloy is only known to upper echelons of the Gen'an and when forged into a weapon, is capable of slicing both the body and the soul of it's unfortunate victims.
Michiya's only living relative is her father Tadashi, who after a brief career with the GMG in 826 A.S., vanished. It is rumored he's dead. Tadashi, originally, was a Blood Dragon. His most active years were 814 - 817 A.S. when he flew under the NovaPG flag. As the subgroup slowly faded into oblivion, Tadashi slowly drifted away from Kusari. The former Dragon, operating where he did and doing what he did, had acquired the ability to outrun almost anything. Thus, he put his skills to good use and became a racer. His racing team, the Turbo Marlins, were ironically sponsored by the Bounty Hunters guild, who had hunted Tadashi not long ago. His career as a racing pilot was spectacular. It gave both him and his daughter the chance to tour almost all of Sirius. When his wife passed away, Tadashi took his daughter and went into hiding, effectively becoming ghosts. Michiya, being only a kid, was always by her father' side as he made sure to keep her as far away from the violent reality of the world they lived in. When Michiya turned sixteen, however, she decided it was time to take her life in her own hands. She, of course, followed her father's true nature and took on high risk high reward assignments all over house space.
Early life
Michiya spent her early years hopping around from base to base with her parents. Her father, when not on combat patrol, spent his time with her. From an early age, she was taught traditional martial arts. By the age of twelve, she had the knowledge and training to be as lethal as her father, if not more. Alongside that, Michya was a natural with a wrench. She spent considerable time with her aunt, Kasumi, who was actually in the business of scrapping ships for parts and selling them off. Michiya absorbed every bit of knowledge from Kasumi.
Teenage years
Michiya spent the majority of her teens onboard the Pathfinder, a highly modified Renzu Liner, owned and operated by the TMRT, the racing team her father flew for. The ship itself was the pinnacle of luxury, but it's docking bays were packed full of experimental technology and the best tools and equipment money can buy. As the team was sponsored by the BHG and by extent, the Core, the whole operation was led by Jessica Scarlet, a high ranking core member. Michiya was actually in line to replace the second pilot of the team, but during a training session in Dublin, she slammed her ship in an old mining rig. The collision obliterated her cockpit and ruptured her flight suit. It was namely Scarlet that saved her. While unclear what went down, both Scarlet and Michiya suffered hypothermia from being exposed to absolute zero temps. Some say Scarlet went for a space walk with nothing but her ankle mounted thruster packs and dragged the young girl back to the safety of the Pathfinder. Although their injuries were incompatible with life, somehow, they both made a full recovery within the year. Being worried about his daughter and having lost his wife not long ago, Tadashi resigned from his position and they returned to Kusari, where he used his connections to effectively disappear along with Michiya.
Recent events
When they returned to Kusari, Michiya couldn't really cope with spending her time on the ground and went to seek her own fortune throughout Sirius. She had earned some credits from racing and it was just enough to buy her an old freighter. The girl did not discriminate, she smuggled contraband for the highest bidder. No job was too dangerous or too difficult. Her skills were on point and her success rate was high enough to make a living out of it. One day, eventually, she picked the wrong job. She was tasked to smuggle a package from the Omegas to a warehouse located in a residential area on planet New Tokyo. The conditions were simple, don't get caught, don't stop anywhere, don't open the package. As luck would have it, her Grizzly was attacked and she had to make an emergency stop in Omicron Theta for repairs. Upon docking with the station, her ship set off all kinds of radiological alarms and she was quickly ordered to vacate both the station and the Freeport's no fire zone. In the following hours, she discovered the nature of her cargo - medium yield thermonuclear warhead with a simple nav unit attached to it. Upon reaching its destination it would trigger the bomb. The destination being a highly populated area, the death toll would be in the hundreds of thousands. Michiya did the only logical thing, contacted her father and they made sure to detonate the ship safely, away from any Planets or Stations. This brought an untimely end to Michiya's smuggling days.
Michiya didn't quit, though. She used her remaining scratch to acquire a surplus naval fighter, which she used to run escort duty for transports and freighters alike. No major infractions were recorded in the past three years and no significant accidents were flagged on her dossier. Her alter ego named "Hiasobi" was never found out. Currently, Michiya is flagged as missing or deceased by the Kusari Police. Her last known location was right next to Shikoku jumpgate in New Tokyo. The record states she was ambushed and her vessel was destroyed by a GC patrol.
However, the record could not be further from the truth. Not only Michiya was not dead, she actually was recruited into the ranks of the Golden Chrysanthemums.
In her eyes, this rag tag group, as it had seem at the time, had everything she ever wanted - Freedom, purpose and most importantly, the means to fight for what they believed in.
For her this was the only choice she could've made. She was on the run, with no friends and no family insight. Her father had disappeared yet again. It was past time she put the loner life behind her and did something meaningful. Even if that meant becoming a fugitive in her own home.
Now
Michiya rose through the ranks over the last two years. Her dedication to the cause has not gone unnoticed. Recently in 830 A.S., she received the rank of Shireigiku.
Despite this, she still is active and operates all around Kusari and deep into enemy territory as well. Michiya still volunteers everything there is a dangerous mission that involves smuggling cargo behind enemy lines. Hernature, as volatile and unpredictable as always, has provided quite a lot of near-death experiences for her, but taming her temper is not on the agenda.
She has recently acquired a top of the line gunship and overhauled the entire ship herself. Some say it's the fastest gunship in the entire sector. Whether that's true or not, remains a mystery.
