Emilie-Sophie,
What an unexpected surprise! I checked the datas regarding our last conversation, and it appears it was during the Kingdom darkest times. Since then, many things have changed again, and some for the worse. Gallia invaded by honourless traitors, wounded internally. Languedoc and Lorraine became nothing but ruins.
I personally blame these Conseillards peasants. These uneducated rebels put us in serious troubles when our situation was already more than desperate on the frontlines. They forced Gallia to be divided and this led to the invasion of our House by Kusari. But most of them repaired their mistake by giving their life in order to save Gallia from the defeat. A sacrifice almost vain if the former Royalist forces didn't arrived on time.
I am sure the insurgents you're speaking of are nothing but the Maquisards criminals. Really unpleasant to deal with them. Their lack of manners and values make me wonder if they truly are Gallic like they seem to pretend.
But tell me about you, Madame de Belmond. Where have you been since all this time? I am even more surprised you are back into Gallia with a warship. Tell me the tales.
Sincèrement
Marine Nationale Gauloise, Amiral Pierre Vaillant.
