Good day. I am Weaver, calling on behalf of the Octavarium Intelligence Commission.
My predecessor, Escher, long ago purchased a hull from you for a project, the Huginn-class Operations Cruiser OCS Black Cloud II. I have been going through our records and I see that he intended to source the blueprints as well, to make maintenance easier and more efficient. Though the Gallic invasion is slowing down, the Royalist forces are growing more aggressive and more desperate.
I'm sure you've heard by now of the bombardment of Leeds. They are also attempting to interdict evacuating civilians, and appear to have had support from the Corsairs... little surprise there, they never were the sort to think beyond the next meal.
So, yes, Natio Octavarium is interest in procuring the blueprints of the Hel platform, the same that was used as the basis for the Huginn project.
And on a directly related note, we are curious about the status of the Muninn-type refit... Angurvadal, I believe? My notes indicate that it was assigned to sensitive operations, which I'm sure you have no intention of telling me about. But we take a certain pride in our work, and if there have been any technical issues we would like to offer our support in resolving them.
I am Drax Stahlbrecher, Direktor der Spezialoperationsabteilung. Ich read your transmission a few days ago and I've been quite neugierig. I've heard about Leeds, well, war has many faces and cruelty is one of them. Jedenfalls we sold you a Hel cruiser vessel a while ago and I am kinda curious why we would you sell our blueprints for it. I'd like to know den Grund for your request. As for the Angurvandal, as far as I know, it's operational and that is all I will tell you about it. I am expecting your answer Herr Weaver.

Hm. A fair question.
In our initial exodus from Kansas, we hooked up several oversized jammers and communications interception devices to Black Cloud II. In the process, we fried much of the power array - a desperation move, you understand. Gallia had blockaded the system and we needed to break our people out.
We were able to get this problem fixed, but it required shipping Hessian technicians from the Omegas to the Taus. That's a long trip, and I can't imagine it was helpful for your organization to be deprived of that many skilled technicians for that time. This was also an inconvenient delay for us, as Black Cloud II was our only surviving warship at the time, Metropolis having suffered major structural failure due in part to the damage incurred at Zwickau.
Additionally, Natio Octavarium is growing, and would prefer not to rely on other organizations to provide our warships. We are working on a shipyard, and also intend to develop our own light warships. While the Hel is an older Hessian design, it's still a quality vessel that would help considerably with our design work. In the absence of Hel blueprints, we will likely base our cruiser development on the heavier Thanatos-class, which is less suited to the kind of strike-and-fade tactics a fleet our size relies on and is instead designed for a larger fleet more in line with a House navy. We could alter the design as needed, but this would slow development considerably compared to starting with a frame already suited to the role.
As for Angurvadal, I didn't expect any further information, I understand the needs of operational security. I'm glad the ship still serves well.
To be honest we don't really care what happens with Bretonia at all. anyways since you cannot provide me a reason why we should share our blueprints with your organization. The Oberkommando decided that we will not send you any materials regarding the blueprints whatsoever. We're ready to build and sell you a few Hel's but that's all about it.
