Please share constructive feedback and explain your thoughts or concerns in detail, as much as possible. Every feedback is read but not every is answered. And not everything brought up is considered or looked into further. Building up a group that it's members enjoy and that is bringing some of that enjoyment to others is what it is all about, and this only works with a civilised exchange and consideration for other players.

I mean if you plan to be in control of your own diplomacy and shoot absolutely everyone, have fun when Durandal kicks in the door. He has a hard on for messing with Corsair diplo.

Unrelated to the OP, feedback, but people shouldn't blame one dev for something that was done because of a combination of people pushing in directions that were killing activity at the time, and for screw-ups in communication. There were at least four people who caused that situation to go downhill.
Generally, people shouldn't mess with alliances due to personal whims. Both positively and negatively. It generally prevents the devs from being able to react to faction activity.
