Greetings,
I'm sure as you know, the NATO meeting previously to be held with Bretonia has yet to have... anything planned out. I don't believe we'll be seeing this kind of meeting soon, and I believe it's time we look to the future with the information we know. What we know, is that Bretonia has signed some form of agreement with the Outcasts.
Whatever this treaty may be, I can only foresee it as being detrimental to both our nations. To this I believe it's time we take the most appropriate steps to prepare for conflict with the Outcasts. Further still we have seen an increase of Outcast attackers inside Liberty and with Bretonia refusing to make any acknowledgment regarding the Basilica treaty, I'm slowly losing any doubt this agreement and Outcast activity rising is any coincidence. I have reason to believe the Kingdom may be plotting against one or both of our nations in order to recoup their damages incurred during the Gallic war. Naturally they lack the meaningful presence to directly threaten either of us, so they use these criminals as a proxy.
From what I understand, the Crayterian Republic holds a fragile peace with them but I wouldn't expect this to last given their renewed interests in the central region of the sector. I would propose a preemptive strike against their dreadnought before they can bolster any ranks any further. Ofcourse a Liberty black ops taskfleet could be assigned if requested, but at this point I can only make recommendations as this is a growing threat to not only Liberty, but possibly the Crayter Republic.
I apologize for the lateness of this reply, and given where you likely are if the testaments of Minister Westbrook are to be believed, this response will be moot.
Regardless, it is being sent anyway to provide closure.
A brief introduction. I am Admiral Lisa Combes, First Chief of Staff of the Crayter Military and Administrator over the Barra Crossroads following the step-down of Admiral Townley for personal reasons.
A pleasure.
While I am not privy to the details of the treaty yet as the talks are currently underway as of this response, I will say that efforts to portray the growing threat of the Outcasts against Crayter are certainly high on the list of items to bring up at the conference for the Minister.
Crayter's responses from the Outcasts have as of late been rather tense. Accusations of withholdance of traitors of their nation, open assaults by Maltese-based mercenary cells in Coronado, and I won't even begin to illustrate the stunt they pulled during Operation Ice Lance. We never expected relations with the Outcasts to last for long, and it's clear they're showing intent to move.
Bretonia's leaching off their actions also seems to be backfiring, as forces within Bretonia have reported Bretonian skirmishes with the same mercenary cells we have been encountering in Coronado. Either another stark, drastic change is taking place within their nation, which seems likely, or Bretonia has lost the reign on their puppet and they're looking to make an example out of unsuspecting pilots. Regardless, it's a mess that needs to be taken care of.
Crayter is more than willing to offer the use of Sabah for general maintenance of vessels of the Liberty Navy in regards to defense against Outcast and other pirate attacks, and should all go well at the NATO conference I'm sure coordination will be key in removing the plague that haunts Coronado. We gave too many lives defending the Helios, and we certainly won't turn down extra guns to vaporize the damned thing that killed her.
Should a secretary receive this, I trust it will be relayed. Otherwise, I hope to hear from you soon Admiral.

Admiral,
I've been tasked by Admiral Prower to handle the situation for the moment while he is attending the conference. The previously established assault fleet is prepared to engage the enemy position. Fleet composition specializes in the effective positioning and elimination of enemy capital assets. This task fleet consists of multiple battlecruisers and siege cruisers. This fleet will specialize in the Basilica's elimination, much in the same manner Beuvray was eliminated, but we won't need to worry about counterattacks during the operation.
Might I suggest Crayter launches the initial attack while the strike fleet closes in from the flank and eliminates this threat. I'll inquire to the Admiral about receiving heavy fleet assets for tasking in this mission, but for now these smaller versatile ships will suffice. Rest assured, the Basilica will be a thorn removed from all our sides, and the playing field leveraged with an influx of supplies and equipment to Crayter. I would also anticipate a number of volunteers for a expeditionary force.
My analysts have been coordinating a combined assault against the Basilica in the home of utilizing your designated forces. While numbers may differ, they've coordinated the strike with a combined attack grouping consisting of both Crayterian and Libertonian forces, backed by a healthy dose of donated forces from the Maltese Republic, who have noted to us a nerve of their own against the Basilica's warfleet.
Our analysts have compiled the following attack plan using data from strike forces during the New London Campaign, as well as information provided by the Maltese Armed Forces, a coordinative group that opposes the Outcast regime. Bear in mind, this is all an assumption, and while we have good intel on what the Basilica's fleet may entail, we have no idea what their true numbers are.

SUBJECT: Operation: Nemesis
OBJECT: ----------1. The objective of Operation 'NEMESIS' is to secure the destruction of opposing Outcast Battlegroup Basilica within Coronado space, to gather any and all documentation aboard such ships pertaining to Outcast military operations and remove the Outcast presence from Coronado indefinitely. Operation 'NEMESIS' is to be coordinated alongside forces of the Crayter Military, forces and command staff of the Maltese Armed Forces, forces and command staff of the Liberty Navy, and forces and paramilitary command staff of the Independent Miners Guild.
----------2. The Operation will be carried out in two phases:
-- PHASE ONE - Forces of the Crayter Military Battlegroup Malachite, composed of command ship C.F.V. Malachite, supporting cruisers Europa, Uphrates, and Krakatoa, and numerous forces of the Crayter Military Reserve Fleet as well as the Independent Miners Guild, will depart from Sabah Shipyard early within the solar day and prepare for combat within the Barrier Nebula. Rendezvous with force of Maltese Armed Forces Detachment 37 will take place exactly five minutes after departure and will assume link-up of forces with Malachite primary. Coordinated forces of the Crayter/Maltese will engage Basilica defensive units north of expected Basilica positioning, and will coordinate the assault of Outcast forces until completion of PHASE TWO.
-- PHASE TWO - During action by Malachite primary, IMG paramilitary, and Armed Forces Detachment 37, Task Force Radon (assumed name of Liberty Archer-class Siege Cruiser task force) will proceed from Cortez system-jump anomaly towards the Salina grouping. Interference from Salina's rings, as well as the highly-unstable Jericho Anomaly, will provide cover for the operation as Liberty forces move into position. As with R.N.S. Beuvray, Dreadnought Basilica will be faced with strong anti-capital armor penetration, and will likely be decimated by the Liberty strike.
Once dispatchment of primary target is affirmed, Liberty Task Force Radon will move to assist with mop-up operations against any remaining Outcast forces.
TARGET DATE
----------3. The target date for this operation will be December 14th, 826 A.S.
COMMAND AND CONTROL
----------4. Command of this operation will be help by the Admiral of the Crayter Armed Forces. The current command staff of the Crayter Military will provide backup coordination in the absence of the Admiral.
----------5. Command of Task Force Malachite will be held by the Admiral of the Crayter Armed Forces.
----------6. Command of the Pecos paramilitant guard will be held by the elected official of the Independent Miners Guild.
----------7. Command of Task Force Radon will be held by the elected officer of the Liberty Navy.
----------8. Command of Detachment 37 will be held by Colonel Maria Cortez of the Maltese Armed Forces (Assignment pre-decreed).
EQUIPMENT ALLOTMENT
----------9. Crayter Military forces are to be coordinated from within.
----------10. Foreign military forces are to be coordinated from within. Liberty Archer Task Unit's forces are to be coordinated with Crayter Supply Forces for optimal usage of special 'Star Lance' sieging cannon.
----------11. All ammunition expenditure is to be supplied by the operational units parent nation.
----------12. Any emergency expenditure will be provided by Crayter on-loan.
EXPECTED EQUIPMENT USAGE
----------13. Crayterian devotion to this operation will be 75% of current Sabah defensive force, not including refit and non-operational vessels and platforms. Malachite Force will utilize 98% of maximum capable deployable force, and assign all available command stations to any available officers.
----------14. Liberty devotion to this operation is expected to be 24% of current Alma flotilla detachment force, not including pertinent forces deployed to Cortez.
----------15. Maltese devotion to this operation is expected to be 17% of current Aurora Force, including strikecraft. Destroyer Abaddon will operate on call in the event of escaping forces.
----------16. IMG devotion to this operation is expected to be 32% of current Pecos paramilitant guard, not including required transport defensive flotilla.
END FILE
Crayter has since reaffirmed our stance against the Outcasts, as well, so I expect these plans to be put into action soon once the time is available to us. With the Outcasts' assault against the Maltese Republic in the north, the sooner we can execute these plans, the better off Crayter's military positioning will be.
Plus I would really like to see what's onboard that ship.
This small notice is to alert the Liberty Fifth Fleet of Crayter's return to neutrality with the IMG within the Taus, and to notify you that Operation Nemesis has the potential to include yet more forces to dedicate to the assault of the Basilica. Should Liberty be willing to offer the IMG a temporary understanding to see that this operation goes smoothly, the IMG are willing to offer a portion of the Pecos Reserve to increase the odds of success. Should Liberty be unwilling, then the effect would be the same as it is now. Having more forces on the side of the assault would put a greater strain on the Outcast forces dedicated to the defense of the Basilica.
I will leave this here. I'll also notify the IMG about appealing to the Republic to make amends for their crimes during the waning years of the war. Crayter will regardless remain in a state of preparation for Operation Nemesis, and will be in touch should updates occur.

Admiral,
As it stands the Liberty task force will not engage any IMG assets that may be in the vicinity of the assault on Basilica or anywhere else in Coronado. We are guests in Crayterian space and will abide by the rules put in place by the Crayter Government. Regarding appealing to the Republic, I can't say much in that matter as at this moment as this operation is classified until further notice. Once the operation is complete we can see about lightening the stance the Government holds against the Guild, but until then we cannot mention anything lest the mission be compromised.
For so long as we are in Crayterian space, and/or commencing the operation against the Basilica, you have my word no Liberty forces will fire upon Guild vessels.
The Navy's position has been noted and I'll relay the news to the IMG. Having more personnel dedicated to this will even further cement the odds in our favor. The details of the operation have been updated, and when the participants are prepped and ready, I'll notify Malachite command and have them ready the fleet for mobilization.
I will keep you abreast of any changes, as I expect you will keep me of any on your end as well.
