My name is Julio Gonzales and I am reaching out to you on behalf of the GRG.
As you may be aware, the GRG have recently become the administrators of Ames Research Station.
Needless to say, we are curious towards the nearby facilities that rely on Ames and as such
we would like to request information in regards to the facility itself, though perhaps
this is more something to discuss over a cup of tea si? Getting to know your neighbors and all that.
I am Transhumanist Unit 452-630, though you may simply call me Aquarius. If you must know about our little outpost, well, I'll be more than happy to oblige you: it's just a site for the manufacture of our patented anti-stealth systems. We need that sort of tech for our job, so you understand why we have such a facility, hm~? Now that I've satisfied your query, I think it's time you return the favor. The Covenant requests information on the GRG. We'd like to know more about your little collection of misfit researchers, sweetie. So do be kind and fill us in?
My apologies for the late reaction, when I saw that I was dealing with such a cultured individual,
I knew I had to make preparations to respond in kind. I must apologise in advance, I am new to these styles of communication.
Now then, allow me to answer your question in style.
*Julio gave a charming grin as music started playing in the background*
"I don't need to tell you what you already know, we're the ones with style, we're the whole darn show.
The other Zoners play their neutrality fine, but next to us their tech is a crime.
After all they say true innovation comes from within but you need to thorough with where you begin,
so we experiment with all kinds of tech, ranging from sparkling new to even a wreck!"
*Julio chuckled as the camera briefly glanced over several different experiments currently going on, nothing clear
enough to see any particular details but if the transmission were to be recorded and paused it wouldn't be hard to
see they involved pretty high end experimentation regarding energy use and ship components*
"You have to admit, they look pretty good no?"
"We're the ones who set the bar, get research done (and not subpar), we're scientists. (we're scientists).
Yes scientists. We're the ones they all come see, it's all about science, it's all about relience! We're scientists.
You know no two methods are like eachother so don't be a plagerist, copying another unless of course you're copying us,
because then at least we'll have something interesting to discuss!
But back to the matter at hand, so what do you say? Do you now understand?
Perhaps we could even work together, our scientific endeavors an unbreakable tether."
*The music stopped as it reached its end, Julio chuckling a bit as he turned the camera back*
"I must admit amigo, I must thank you for inspiring such a performance. The offer for a meeting still stands, should
you so desire.
