Now, i must admit this have came much sooner that i have anticipated, exceeding my most positive expectations and calculations.
You are, indeed, correct in your assumption - the wrecks marked for salvaging are Cardiff mining facility and Freeport Four. Reconstructing and maintaining them after was found unfeasible, however, the recovered resources may as well serve better purpose rather than pointlessly rot in space. Providing security to the salvage operations comes naturlly, for we have utmost interest in these operations end in success and the contractor making it through with minimal possible losses. You may count on our paramilitary personnel ensuring the safety of your vessel and personnel during their work and salvage transportation.
What you are asking for is definitely well within our capabilities to provide you with. However, i would like the wording to be slightly less vague - to be precise, exact quantities for each of the vessels listed, and the amount of credits you are looking to procure.
It is good to hear that the IMG will indeed provide assistance if needed in securing materials Voltaic vessels will carry from Cardiff and Freeport 4. Question is, where is it headed to? Surely Culebra Smelter isn't the default destination you wish to send all this salvage to.
About the IMG assets and monetary cost...hmm. A fair deal would be 15 Very Heavy Fighters fully equipped with IMG weaponry - which will be delivered by the end of the contract. About the monetary cost - a total of 80,000,000 credits should be paid for the contract as a whole. This money will be later used to research your vessels and adapt them to Junker technology.
Now that it is brought up - the salvaged materials will be delivered to two different locations; distance from the operation area and the capability to process the salvage were the two major factors in choosing the destination.
The salvage from Magellan is to be transported to Outpost Holman, Tau-31. Our logistical vessels will handle the rest of the transportation from there. The salvage from Cambridge is to be transported Madeira Base, Omega-47.
Your terms are well within the acceptable level, and your vessels of choice, along with the weapon and monetary compensation will be provided once the contract is complete.
Madeira Base is located in Omega-47, grid square 5B.
Holman Outpost is located in Tau-31, on the edge of grid square 6E and 6F.
I would expect Freeport Four salvaging to be a tad easier since most of the path to Holman is connected with Trade Lanes, and the outpost itself is located in the lane intersection. Still, i would understand if you would prefer to avoid using the Trade Lane connections, but you would still have to use Jump Gate connection to Tau-31, and i would strongly suggest against using Edinburgh for transit due to it being heavily populated with the remnants of the Gallic invasion fleet, now calling themselves The Enclave. I would prefer not to attract their attention and not to put our operations in jeopardy like this. I believe you understand.
There is something else i would like to outline regarding the usage of the provided Guild technologies: under no circumstances they are to be used against the parties neutral or allied to the Guild. For some, it might come as natural, but want this to be abundantly clear that such usage is completely out of the question and if we will get a message from any concerned party regarding you breaking this part of our agreement and the consequences are imposed upon us - your little humble establishment will get a fair fraction of it. So please be mindful and considerate of where and how you are using it.
All notable resources have been extracted successfully. And surprisingly enough, we were wrong. An extra amount of 1930 Reinforced Alloy has been salvaged in the process - probably more. You may see the manifests below.
No more complications took place, and our Salvagers chewed through the salvage you now have aboard Madeira
Such an excellent performance is well within our expectations and i have just confirmed the cargo manifests with the Madeira quartermaster and everything is in order.
On a side note - you may now commence the fulfillment of the second quota without any obstruction from the Bretonian law enforcement, the Guild will fulfill the conditions of the contract in full once it is finished. I will be waiting for more cargo manifests.
The moment I was notified of the secondary contract regarding Cardiff, several Salvagers, CSVs and Wreckers were sent to the designated target for evaluation. A full checkup had to be done before anything could be done - as such, you may see below the amount of salvage we may gather off Cardiff.
50,000 Reinforced Alloy
10,000 Hull Panels
5,000 Basic Alloy
However, nothing goes THAT perfect. We're having complications that affect the safety of our vessels. So far we noticed:
The Reactor - although being long shut down - is still volatile due to the amount of unused fuel which still leaks to this day. Risks include ignition of fuel while cutting through scrap.
Depressurized sections of Cardiff are bloated with scrap. While this is usually a good thing - this time it is not. The amount of scrap prevents Junkers deployed aboard the wreck in special equipment to cut the station from inside out. Hallways are blocked by thick, collapsed scrap - some of them, to say the least.
Several sections of Cardiff are loosely attached by stray cables that could break at any moment with the slightest impulse. This means our ships are endangered by entering collision with said parts.
Cardiff will be salvaged no matter what as fast as possible, but it may take longer than expected. You will hear from me soon, Miss Ludenberg.
Cardiff has been mostly salvaged. One thing stops us from advancing, though: A collapsed region inside the Wreck must be carefully unblocked so that we may safely detach the storage units safely as they still contain trace amounts of minerals. A team of 10 Junkers has been deployed and as we speak they are probably cutting through the metal in order to achieve their goals. This delay should take only around 24 hours.
As such, the completion of Cardiff's operation should be done in two or three days minus the delay. Large scale convoys will probably take place and all the salvage will be redirected to Madeira in Omega-47, as Tau-31 seems to be under lock and key by the Crayter Republic. Let me know if you need anything else in the meantime.
It has been brought to my attention that it has been three weeks since the promised date of the completion of Cardiff salvaging and no word was heard from the Voltaic Junkers ever since. Therefore, you have twenty four hours since this moment to provide all the required manifests confirming the salvaging and material delivery is completed, otherwise i will forcefully shut down the contract and you will be paid only for the progress you have solid proof for, regardless of the progress made with the salvaging of Cardiff.
Such delay is unacceptable and will be taken into consideration before we even consider conducting business with the Voltaic Junkers, should such necessarity arise again in the future.
