I have a special assignment for you. You're expected to cease any other duties for the time being.
You may well be aware that during the IMG debacle, we lost the full support of the Council. This was particularly frustrating for me as I have considered them a close ally for many years, and it was once my hope that they would take the mantle of leadership within Gallia. Whilst that house is now fractured, and fighting with itself, I would like you to re-establish communications, and attempt to regain their favour. We both fought for the same goal, let's extend the hand of friendship once more.
I believe they have declared a Republic within the Gallic territories. Make contact, see what we can arrange. Any deals should be passed back to myself directly for approval. Otherwise, I'll trust you to run this alone.
Good luck Pria,
Lord Admiral M. O'Brian Harlow Command

Well Boss, I'm not really in active duty these days, but as long as it does not involve dodging fire from multiple ships, I'm up for it.
As far as I know, the Republique is awfully quiet, both towards us, or any other organization in general. The Minarchy's sort of just there, while The Duchy had some deals going on in the past few months. If I was in there, that would certainly help mapping our current relations, but remember that in my "condition", an extended stay may not be the wisest choice.
Until you're signed off, you're capable of desk duties. Begin the communications, and have a fleet doctor complete a weekly check up. As soon as they say, you're to step back from any active duties and pass this, along with all other responsibilities, to your XO.
Start with the Council's successors. No official peace has been signed and ratified with Gallia as yet, and I'm still not sure where we stand with those Royalists-turned-good. Keep them at arms length until you hear otherwise from me.
Keep me posted,
