What I would like to see in this thread is what YOU want for Disco. Make your post, keep it civil, and keep it to Your thoughts. Make some suggestions that you think would actually improve the game.
For me, I think the server environment has gotten too big for the community and needs to be reduced. Most of the time, I see faction players in their ZoI and they don't have to work to avoid anyone.
I'm also of the opinion that people spend too much time in Connecticut, but I don't really have an answer for that since I recognize the need for the neutral/OoG environment.
For the sever Id like to see a major relaxation in server rules. I don't violate them but honestly I couldn't care less about someone returning to the system after I killed them because they tried to pirate me, nor could I care if they came back on an alt and tried to kill me again. Its a game and it should be left to be played. Rather Id prefer to see ships tagged as icRP and ooRP for those interested in either case. if your icRP then the RP rules apply, if your ooRP then they don't, and just have ooRP players leave icRP alone. Trying to force a state of RP on every player at all times just dissuades anyone not in the mood to RP from logging on, either that or they just break character anyway. In either case the rule doesn't help.
Well i really want to see new systems, some of them deep in nomad space, dangerous places where you can't enter on your own.
Giving finally the Freelancer id cruiser, bc, bs class ship.
Re-entering the old Spyglass battleship withing a faction.
Making all special ships more available to play with.
Stop balancing everything, for example make 5.88 guns for one faction better then other and vise-versa for 4.00 etc.
Any faction could have some unique weapon, ship, shield.
Really want to see new systems with Dom'Kvosh alien ships. Humanity threaten by Nomads and The wild again.
Make missions with boss ships which drop unique items.
Reworked regions
Good system connections
Functional economy
Sensible mining balance
PvE being good again
Fun/diverse pvp balance where everything isn't just a 1:1 copy of each other in a different colour or where things are nerfed to the point of misery
Removal of stupid archaic and arbitary restrictions on what factions can roleplay and request ("ur a non house faction!!!" et al)
Emergent and engaging roleplay that is as organic as possible
Adapted guns being decent and the Hammerhead getting a VHF shield, extra core and an armour or agility buff
One Representative of each House (if there're more than 1 faction then 1iC's people shall vote).
Each Representative must have a vast knowledge of the its Lore.
Representatives shall fight each other (Watch the Q_Q).
Let Devs implement.
10mio cap missions.
Remove PoBs.
Cloaks/Disruptors sold on Research/Guard Stations.
More Trade/PVP/Cultist events.
Less Antimatter Union weirdness, just a normal reason why.

I think the storyline should be rolled forward by a decade. The Houses need to recover from the wars that have just ended in order to fight new ones. I doubt a decade will kill many characters off. At worst the 12 yo catgirl admirals will grow up.
I'd like to see more PvE content, hopefully I'll be able to work on this after the holidays.
"Dungeon raiding"/PvE with chances of getting custom/unique rewards as opposed to sci data (for example, tokens for adding nomtrails to a ship, cosmetics, ship tokens, weaponry with unique looks).
