The Hellfire Legion is the paramilitant arm of the Commonwealth of Liberty, a separatist government that opposes the Republic and aims to institute a more citizen-focused government with social ideals. The Legion was originally composed of Liberty Navy personnel under the command of Drake Thastus, on the run after false declarations of treason on his behalf, and has since grown into a major militant power comparable to the Liberty Navy itself.
The Legion staunchly believes the reformation of the Liberty Armed Forces is a key factor in repairing the broken Liberty they see, but does tend to prioritize unlawfuls that pray on Liberty civilians. Foreigners are typically unexceptional to the Legion as long as they abide by their rules.

What other goals than being in charge of liberty or some of it do they persue?
What will they do differently from the current government?
And why?
EDIT: The mere fact that who ever (4th question... who are you) posted this didnt think it necessary to mention the answer or possibly even think about it reflects very poorly on the faction.
It's a shame that this faction resorts to metagaming to "find" POB to siege while posting low level roleplay that misses Hellfire setting completely. The best thing you could have done was not to drag legacy through the mud and start a new faction.
As far as I am aware, the transfer of the offending POB from DSE to LPI was not made public in any way. The only report was to the Government of the Republic of the House of Liberty.
Why is a revolutionary faction, who would ostensibly be interested in popular backing from the citizens of Liberty, actively assault a station that would house working members of said citizenry? to farm activity
