Office of Confederation Intelligence Omicrons sector branch
Bonjour.
First of all, we must introduce ourselves. OCI is the new intelligence organization of the Confederation, performing almost the same functions as the GRI, but with a new government and new composition. So, at the moment, most OCI agents are ex-Council members.
Yesterday, the OCI took part in a joint expedition of the Order and the MNG to Omicrons. Everything went well, except for some minor issues that are not worth mentioning. In addition, our people already had combat experience with the forces of the Nomads and infected people in the Freeport 11 area. At least that’s how we think, since we noted as infected those who attacked the Order’s ships in the system at that moment.
At the moment, the most important point is the logistic issue, which we would like to resolve in the near future. We believe that there are alternative routes that would not put our forces at risk of being discovered in someone else's House. Thus, OCI requests data about all Omicrons or about those Omicrons that are closest to the Gallic Sector and will allow us to use them as a route for logistic ships. These are stations, hyper-transition holes, and so on. Of course, if you have your own objects in these systems, then we will not claim that you should indicate them on the map, or that we should immediately get access to them.

Cartography
Well met. I assume you are the commanding officer of the various Codenames that assisted my soldiers in Omicron Delta. In absence of a name, rank and callsign, I will have to refer to you as Mr. X for the time being. As you undoubtedly had been informed or had learned from various public databases, I am commander of The Order. My own usefulness as covert agent for The Order intelligence had expired almost a decade ago, that is why I am at luxury of using my name.
I am familiar with the Council and what they stood for. Your flag constituting the logo of your outfit speaks volumes. Considering Commandant Vailliant of the Defense Forces identified himself as in service to not only Confederation but also as citizen of the Duchy I wonder whether there is some kind of dichotomy within ranks of Confed. Are the Branches largely separated along federal lines or partisant-style warfare Council was accustomed to simply fit the role description too well? My primary concern is whether your persona should be considered as representative of the Republic’s interest in Omicrons. Further clarification would ease us into
I am not in possession of information concerning how much of the briefing was shared to you from Omicron Expedition’s naval component. Regardless, I would like to formally welcome you to Omicron subsector, the Nomad homeworlds. There are few rules enforced by The Order, with primary concern being abstaining from those who Order considers an enemy: Alien, Core, Outcasts. Gallia had already made its stance clear on two out of the three which I am glad. In return, the Navy was promised a shared supply base and fortified mooring point at our local anchorage, Dabadoru. We are scrambling to fix the IFF systems for this very purpose as we speak.
As for your request. There are many ways in and out of Omicrons. I have to disappoint you, as the most direct route between Gallia core worlds and Omicron Delta leads though Outcast homeworld: Malta. Maintaining supply lines though is nearly suicidal but you may yet surprise us. Secondary route, under partial control of The Order is safer but would require some diplomatic leg up. GMG or Kusari warlords holed up in northern Kusari, if we go with my personal pick, the Guild it is. Talks on line Confederation-GMG-Order on the subject of utilizing Guildspace to ferry cargo both-ways. If we, or suitable legal front can acquire legal rights to open a shipping platform, flow of resources could be easily streamlined.
Both choices will require permission to pass though The Order Protectorate unhindered and as previously mentioned, our automated defense network would treat you as hostile until further notice.

First of all, we are glad that the Order treats us neutrally-friendly, despite our statement that we remain neutral to the Core. If we understood correctly, then these are your potential enemies.
Since you are interested in the hierarchy of the Confederal forces, we will clarify the situation for you. At the moment, the Confederal forces are national in nature and do not belong entirely to one of the parties to the Confederation. However, due to the Confederate form of government, the OCI decided to divide its structure into several branches to improve work in relevant areas. So, the Republican branch works in the Republic, the Duchy branch - in the duchy and so on. In simpler terms, it is specifically our Omicron branch that does not represent the interests of the Republic: we work on behalf of the Confederation. However, since the OCI is composed of former Council officers, you can be sure that the success of the cooperation of the OCI with the Order will affect relations with the Republic.
Your answer regarding maps turned out to be somewhat expected for us, since Omicron Tau is a system owned by outcasts. MNG and OCI have already carried out several operations there, which you probably were notified about, since we met representatives of the Order in this system. Despite any difficulties associated primarily with logistics, our request still remains relevant: we would like to receive accurate Omicron maps with the conditions described above. We realize that you better understand the whole situation in this subsector, but we cannot act blindly if something happens to the Order at the time of our expedition.
There are many risks associated with expeditions. Awareness of where we are will remove most of these risks.
