- Xenos should be permitted to ask for credits.
- Rogues and Lane hackers should get larger ZOIs, along with many other factions.
- Freelancers should be allowed to fly cruisers, and the factions that dont have cruisers should be a able to use that civilian cruiser.
- Zoners should be allowed to dock on at least some bases in house space (rephacks and splitting the Zoner ID into Omicron, Omega, Tau, and borderworld zoners can prevent them from docking and becoming supertraders between houses)
- Mobile colonies should be permitted to enter house space, and be stripped of their battleship abilites&classification
- Mining bonuses should be adjusted so mining factions are more equal among themselves, because there is no gain from forcing players to make 5 different mining ships of different factions. Small mining ships should receive decent combat capabilites.
Gameplay has been made considerably less fun by the mentality of nerfing one ID so it becomes "less OP" compared to another ID, and now all IDs are equally bad and nothing was gained from it because we have more IDs than players anyway.
As to Nomads: The biggest boost to activity around nomads would not be to give select people/factions OP gear, but to let all non wild nomads engage without lines of ***RP***. Discovery's nomad role play is uninteresting and a turn off both for people who are forced to do it and those who are forced to read it. Letting nomads engage without verbal RP in certain systems would also give non english speakers and people who dont like to RP something to do within the rules. Finally, permacloaks should be removed. People lost the will to find nomads because 90% of the time they are permacloaked anyway.
We don't really need to give nomads a JH to New Berlin, if they used jump drives.
That would all be nice, and probably liven things up quite a bit.
But it hit me that aside from destructable nomad bases (even asteroids), if it were possible to make those wormholes destroyable too, players could have the goal of finding and eliminating the nomad doorway to a system. That would be cool.
Is there still a wormhole generator drive, or was that just the hyerspace matrix module I'm thinking of? If Nomad players could generate those votexes, we'd have a real interesting Nomad war on our hands.
Nomads have no eyes and yet they still see. Nebula would not constrain them, if not turn the fight into their favour. If Nomads become threat of a size that it takes every single House to join its forces together, all Omicron factions would either die or retreat, entirety of Omicrons becoming a no-man's zone. The Order would be simply on the run, unable to stop something several magnitudes bigger than itself, until they could find a new home and decide upon a new plan. The Order survives in its current form because Nomads are not really that big. The Order was founded because humanity cannot unite over this problem and put an end to it. Should all Houses join their forces and bring fight to the Nomads, Order would no longer be needed in its current shape and form. Fighting Nomads would naturally continue, but we would no longer be on the forefront, we are simply too small.

They literally did in vanilla
We never "conquered" any House, so we didn't "won". Nomads were not House-sized fleet in vanilia. They were tiny, using humans to fight other humans.
What should have happened was Rheinland actually getting more enthusiastically into the Liberty war once Gallia started advancing towards California rather than going for white peace. This could have extended the whole war and possibly given more navy factions something to do instead of that Rheinland/Kusari war that died out in less than an year. Rheinland also entering a conflict over Omega-3 and Omega-49's conquest by Bretonia could have also added some extra enemies and flavor to all the wars going on and if Kusari followed the original idea of being a puppet state to Gallia they could have been added to the whole thing thus creating what would likely be a full Sirius global conflict on multiple fronts with multiple military factions involved. Alas instead now we have global peace and the only thing naval factions have their caps to use for is to clubseal NPCs in missions or outnumbered unlawful players in much less capital ships.
to be entirely honest I am surprised why Rheinland is doing literally nothing in regards to Bretonia annexing Omegas left and right. It should spark flashpoints, border skirmishes and competing claims - after all Rheinland invested in Omega 3 considerably with local Daumann station being base of their interests. Ironically Red Hessians started doing what RM should had done.
Liberty likely doesnt want to spend lives of its soldiers for a foreign power now that neither Rheinland or Gallia are real threat to Liberty.

There used to be a short Rheinland/Bretonia war over Omega-3 when @Dab tried to annex it and rename it to Snowdown or something like that. You're indeed right to be surprised nothing happened this time.
Why not utilize the Uncharted systems? Phase in a Jumphole somewhere in the house, then make Nomad NPC spawn in said house and have a destructible base somewhere in the uncharted system. The Nomad attacks keep ramping up the longer it takes for the house to respond and destroy the Nomad base (first just fighters then gunships, eventually cruisers, and so on and so forth.) This would encourage exploration and cooperation

Loads of people are asking/suggesting this, I think the story team is making a mistake by not capitalizing on it.
I know Backo. I was there, profiteering as Freelancer. That was one of the most fun player-caused events that completely derailed dev's story telling. Dont forget about old RoS, SCRA, Corsairs and literally everyone piling up once Zoner-BAF relations got hot during first Zoner drama. Good times.
