Edmund pondered the question, of course it was only natural to be curious, to seek a meeting with one's long lost mother. But the complexity of the situation, the trouble it could cause In theory, yes. He began, ignoring a look from Victor as he continued She is..not someone we would contact willingly
Edmund.. Came the voice from Victor, now no longer willing to entertain the idea that for the sake of family, a reunion could take place.
Anna Heinrich...if she is indeed your mother. Please be aware that at this time it is only a guess. We have no way of being certain. She is a...complicated individual
She is the leader of the Red Hessian Army. A terrorist group based in the Omegas, responsible for God only knows how much chaos. If this woman is your mother, then you can easily see how this could be a problem for us. This is why you are here, why this cloak and dagger business was needed. It is not personal, it's business. Victor said bluntly, only now taking a sip from his glass. Edmund simply rolled his eyes at his brother's rudeness. Your natural curiosity, wanting to meet your mother, is understandable. But that's all hypothetical, if you are indeed the son of Heinrich...well then a far more serious conversation will need to happen.

02/15/ 827 AS, 08:07 Isaak's face went peach red, he shook his head in disbelief. But most notable of all, there was a bit of reflection in his eyes, blue and bright as the sky. A terrorist? A LEADER at that? There was a hint of anger, and an even great hint of pain. He had been searching his whole life, but it came to no avail all this time. He had imagined his parents to be Bretonian refugees, or... or anything else really.
Isaak re-mustered his bearings. and responded with some confidence.
I understand, I'll call Freyja as soon as possible. She definitely has some explaining to do.
No Edmund said with an unusually firm voice Tell her nothing, only that you need to meet her. Nothing must be given away, we cannot risk your safety nor can we risk the RHA finding out about you and your choice to join us. And before you contact her, you will be escorted to the medical bay for those samples we discussed.
Edmund stood up as another man enter the room. A plain, blonde haired man entered the room, he wore a suit and had few distinguishing marks. This is James Skirka, he will simply observe your tests to ensure they are done correctly and then bring you back to us when you are done. When you are ready to call Freyja, you can call from here.

Yes sir. Isaak spat out the words to appease them both, but he was still overwhelmed and taking in what could likely be his new reality. The very thought of it disgusted him, they appeared somewhat hostile about it. Almost as if they had thought Isaak had inherited her "predicted" mother's reputation by default. Isaak stood up, seeing as though Victor and Edmund had already. He took a few seconds to get his bearings, the awkward silence in the room broke after just under a minute when he finally turned to James.
Sir, I.. don't know where the medical deck is. He said, Victor and Edmund turned back towards each other as James began to lead him out of the room.
Then man looked at Ensign Heinrich with a blank stare before responding with; Neither do I...holding a straight face before a smile broke through It's this way, come along he said, walking down the corridors Hope the meeting went well sir, but I guess that isn't my business.

It was... well I guess it was a little frightening. This was not how I anticipated this day going. The pair walked down the hall, Isaak made a few gestures, trying to shake the stress of the last twenty minutes or so. How quickly will the DNA sample return? Can I be the first to see my ancestry line, if at all? Isaak turned torwards James as he asked the question, DNA readings typically came back within a few hours based on a normal timeline. It was 827 after-all, however the idea of an instant data withdrawal didn't elude Isaak's thoughts as well. The Bretonian Armed forces holding the DNA samples of his family was an even greater question, but he wouldn't dwell on it for too long before he snapped back his attention to James.
I imagine it'll take as long as it normally does...I'm not a doctor, I can't answer that. James said, curious how one must feel to find out about family in such a manner. They approached the medical center a few short moments later where the attending nurse was already waiting. James liked nurses, they were tough but caring and an endless source of entertainment. This particular nurse was called Mary and she was just like all the others, no one was better than Mary. She instructed the ensign to sit while she got a blood bag ready. Should be over fairly soon, squeeze the ball gently to encourage blood flow she said handing him a stress ball.

The pinch of the needle felt more irritating than anything else, that irritation kept him from zoning out - which at this point he desperately needed. He spent more time trying to weight in the question of "what if" as to whether he was related over "what would" happen afterwards - already anticipating his family lineage. Isaak squeezed against the ball as hard as he could, the nurse eventually told him to ease up but the words went in one ear and out the other. Sorry. He said laxing up his grip. The nurse gave him a concerned look for a second before removing the needle and placing a pad over the entry point. Thank you. He muttered as she walked away with the sample, he turned his attention to James, who was just standing there awkwardly as if nothing were going on. Guess it's only a matter of time now.
And back we go. Thank you Mary James said holding the door for Heinrich. The nurse said nothing as she gathered the blood vial and silently left through another door. Suppose we'll forgo the tissue sample for now then...Blood is sufficient, regardless of what the admirals think. James said, slightly amused at the medical teams passive-aggressiveness when it came to medical matters. They walked along the corridor in silence for a bit before returning to the door. Good luck sir, I'm sure all will be well.

Heinrich shook off his arm quickly, James up and vanished faster than he appeared. Heinrich didn't even have time to talk to him about anything really, but that was Military bearing in a nutshell. Admiral, I've given the sample. He said at the entrance to the door, there wasn't much of a conversation up and about, so he spoke upon arrival. There was a hint of nervousness in him. Obviously being the descendant of a terrorist would stick on him like a brand if it came back as such, hopefully it wouldn't leave the Admiral's office though.
