While it may come as a surprise considering our "current" conflict and signing of the controversial Treaty of Nevers that we see this communication questionable in its outcome. But considering the circumstances, the unified parties of the Federal Conservatives and UDF are willing to see this as one step towards returning peace between our prideful houses.
The treaty of Nevers is one that our allied parties see as a thorn of instability, which is why we're coming to you with a deal that may constitute a much more reasonable outcome which should have been concluded at the end of the Saigon conflict.
The Federal Republic of Rheinland is willing to prepare another draft which is much more suitable that involves the voices of the Gas Miners Guild equally, if not more in favour, concerning the territorial controls of Sigma-21. The question is, are you willing to declare a ceasefire for these negotiations to move forward?
Mit Grüße,
Staatssekretär of the Bundeskabinett Sekretariat, Karl Graves.
The stance of the Gas Miners Guild has not changed. This stance is, as previously advised on many occasions, that The Guild has no desire for conflict with the Federal Republic of Rheinland and seeks peace.
GMG sovereignty in the Sigma systems is of the utmost importance and it does not recognise any agreement that does not recognise this sovereignty. It is required that The Rheinland Military effect a full withdrawal from the Sigma-21 system, however The Guild is, as it always has been, fully prepared to lay down its arms and sit at the diplomatic table with House Rheinland.
