The air in the interrorgation room was cold and heavy, permanently in motion, moved by the fans near the cieling. The rooms interior was somewhat basic, some chairs a table and a lamp. And on one of the chairs a man, James Kent. Wearing normal civilian clothing and seemingly calm despite the uneasy and intimidating nature of the room.
A man wearing a standard LSF uniform walked down the corridor to the interrorgation room, producing a damped rythm with his heavy boots. He recently landed on manhattan after he escorted the man who was now sitting in the room waiting for him, to manhattan after their rather unfortunate meeting in space. The man in the room was a smuggler who, was hauling sorted artifacts when he enountered the agent and now he will help the agent and his collegues to bring the other members of this operation to justice.
He entered the room and sat down facing Kent. Behind him was a one way mirror and before him this Kent guy. Taking one last look at the datapad he brought in he looked at Kent.
"Allright. Let's get this over with. State your full name, place of birth and date of birth."

Eddie had been sitting on a steel foldable chair with a very limited amount of padding foam contained in black faux leather cushioned his body the backrest was made of hard plastic no doubt to cause a small amount of pain on the interrogatee to get them to talk.
On the other side of the dull metal table in which Eddie was manacled to, stood two more chairs however these chairs had more padding and a solid backrest. Behind them, a mirror which Eddie had correctly guessed was a one-way observation glass.
Eddie was still dressed in his blue checked flannel shirt with sleeves that been rolled up revealing several tattoos underneath the flannel shirt he wore a simple grey teeshirt emblazoned with the New London Royals Pyramid Ball team logo topping off with a denim navy jeans and dark blue slip-on trainers.
When it seemed like an hour had passed Eddie’s ears suddenly pricked up at the dull thuds of standard-issue heavy patrol boots coming closer and closer, the agent had returned he thought to himself no doubt coming from a pile of paperwork or even just the cafeteria. Upon the door swinging open, Eddie eyes and head-tracked the agent to one of the chairs opposite quickly noting that the liberty agent’s uniform was immaculate even down to the shiny belt buckle confirmed to Eddie that either this was a rookie trying to impress his superiors or given the age and solo interrogation more likely a dedicated and distinguished agent indeed Eddie would have been a proud patriot if he was a Libertonian but as it was he wasn’t a patriotic Libertonian fool.
Silence had once again fallen across the room as both men sized each up. It was then the agent who breached the sea of silence.
"Allright. Let's get this over with. State your full name, place of birth and date of birth."
“Edward James Kent, Aireborough City, Planet Leeds, Bretonia, 4 April 783 A.S”
Came, the reply sharp and straight to the point whilst trying to keep his level of annoyance to a minimum.

"So, you are a Bretonian citizen i asume." He quickly drops the datapad on the table then stood up from his chair and started walking from one end to the room to the other.
"When did you start your artifact smuggling ring here in liberty?" The man asked while slowly walking behind kent. The heavy boots once again producing that damped rythm but this time ever so slowly. The agent knew that the first few minutes of an interrorgation are one of the most important at this case. The sooner this person talks the sooner they will be able to shut down his organization. The more intell he gives the more members can be tracked and later removed one way or another.

Eddie tried to keep a neutral and unperturbed look on his face but for a brief moment, he allowed a wry smile to form before the smile fading as quickly as it arrived.
"My dear Agent, whatever your name is, may I call you Dodgson, you seem like a Dodgson to me or maybe a Nedry, but anyway by a small technicality of birth yes I am a Bretonian but I spent most of my youth in Liberty before settling down and doing odd jobs on Freeport 1."
Eddie paused to gauge the response from the now pacing agent before sighing briefly and then continuing"As for your second question, I must slightly amend the question before answering as I am sadly not the mastermind of the artifact ring I am merely a humble courier if I were the mastermind I certainly would not be carrying the merchandise myself you see layers of separation, distance, and all that useful protection."
"However sadly for my employers and co-conspirators, I know enough to bring them and their squalid little schemes crashing down with your help but I am also not a fool, I’ll need to be properly motivated and compensated if I am to assist you to my fullest capacity. Now the agent who caught me mentioned some sort of deal and payment for services rendered to your good selves.
Now before I say anymore I want to review this aforementioned agreement that being said I know you will need a smidgen of information before agreeing to any of my terms so if you are so kind to pass over that datapad." The agent then slid the pad across the table so that Eddie could input the data, whilst typing furiously Eddie clarified the information he was entering.
"I will provide the drop location, the receiver droids id code and because I am in a generous mood the location of the warehouse the droids will move the cargo too after the handover but a word of advice it would be wise to know a bit of ancient Sol literature before you arrive at the drop if you don’t want your agents to be eviscerated by the receiver droids upon arrival, specifically the author of Les Misérables and Notre-Dame de Paris.
Now I expect you will want to confer with your work colleagues and report this to your superiors as that’s all I am saying for the moment but if you would be so kind as to bring me a glass of water on your way back I’ll be much obliged as I am kinda parched."
Eddie then readjusted himself in his chair as his back was starting to twinge slightly, waiting for the agent's response.

Julia was behind the one way mirror as an observer. She watched the exchange with frustration, as the detainee was hiding something, one thing she hates.
"This guy knows more than he is saying" she muttered to herself.
Her fellow agent was getting impatient as well, just as the prisoner had finished his "speech" The agent got up and walked out, slamming the door behind him.
"Well, that was unexpected"
She walked out to intercept him and try and get more information.
"So what do you think? Can we trust what he says? I for one, think he is keeping things back in the hopes we offer him more." She looked her colleague up and down, he looked tired.

Closing the door behind him he heard Julia's voice from behind. Turning arround he walked to her and thought for a moment as he was listening to Julia's question.
"Of course he is keeping things from us. Information is the sole reason he is not sitting on a prison ship for Sugarland yet. "
Raising the datapad in his left hand.
"I'll send this intell down to the others in DPD. They'll figure out what to do with this."
Marcus turned arround and started to make his way down the hallway.
