This won't suit us, tho. We practice the aggressive imposition of RP here.

Be aware all urgent news !
Aperently, one of Players or NPC in that multiplayer game mod , learned MR.Smith Matrix trick and has ability to bypass pause game...
Btw, i can see MR.Red Dwarf statemant is worthy to become meme or will earn place in somome signature .
People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. Leave the guy alone.
There might be some timer on the F1, my dodgy mouse didn't log out right once
& i had died after i came back half an our later or so, no NPC's or player around in
system location, highly doubt i hit the system wall so i took that death as a failed
log out due to time being in F1 mode.
Lighten up there Snakey pants, you'll get us all into trouble with calls like that.
What you're saying is it's ok to make fun before the answer? I mean, fares fair Pascal...
Making fun of newcomers for sure will leave a good impression. And not only for this person you make it bad, but also for people looking for new multiplayer games.
They definitely would like to join this awesome community. Sasa Is great example, but because I don't want to get banned, I will just say it nicely. Even vegetable has higher IQ.

Hey! What's up!
Here, in Discovery Multiplayer, you can expect several things to happen if you F1, or loose your internet connection and et cetera.
Having F1 menu open while flying / Being static while having the Menu open.
If you were in singleplayer, having that menu open while in-game will pause the game. However, in multiplayer the situation is opposite. You'll keep on flying with the menu open.
In case you're AFK, with your menu open. Many things can happen. If you're in a dangerous system with powerful NPCs, you can get killed. Sometimes, players may come in, and -kill you-, for many reasons...
Disconnecting in space.
In case you disconnect in multiplayer (in discovery), while in the space, situation is interesting. If you don't relog your character in the following several hours or longer, depending upon duration of your absence, your ship will -float in space-. Once you relog, you'll be in a different location, sometimes even 200k far away from the original point.
3.2 Disconnecting in space to avoid interaction. If accidental, post here as soon as possible
This is a rule from https://discoverygc.com/forums/showthread.php?tid=2334, because -we have specific rules- here. In this case, people can report you for avoiding an interaction by disconnecting. To avoid this scenarion, just don't intentionally disconnect from the server. If it's was accidental, in case your game has crashed and et cetera, you'll need to post here https://discoverygc.com/forums/showthread.php?tid=42531
This rule exists only on this server (possibly others), not on singelplayer of course.
Multiplayer in general won't pause your game. Hope this was helpful for you. Have fun.
The single-player mode is different from multi-player mode dude, So the F1 key does not pause the game on multiplayer mode. Don't mind those who tried to make fun of your newbie experience level. This is not how DiscoveryGC works. We want you to have fun, enjoy your time here and use the forums to ask about any question without feeling embarrassed or shy about it - All of the players on DiscoveryGC played freelancer-multiplayer online for the first time without any experience at all, so please feel welcome
Do not use F1 in space, because it's not allowed when you got players around you within the scanner range.
Take a fast look at the server rules and server RP laws links shown on my forum signature (at the bottom of my reply).
