Hi En,
What's cooking? A war with Bretonia? Nice. The only reason I got even slightly surprised by this, is because I usually don't read, or listen to Outcast broadcasts when I'm away. Not like we weren't shooting them already, but hey; at least we'll have more Outcasts along for the ride.
There's another good thing coming out of this warfare, that I'm sure you've already considered. That is the prices of cardamine rising in Bretonia, now that no Outcast will directly deal with them. Sounds like a good deal to me.
Yes, I did send you a full fledged transmission because I know how much you like doing paperwork, but also I got a story to share. And no, not about the Blood Dragons, shooting those got old really quick. They tend to fly into weapons range. Anyways.
I had to take the gunship back to some shipyard for re-evaluation (?) Maintenance (?) Combat re-assessment (?). One of those three, I forgot the technobable the original message used. Due to some idiot Junker ramming into the mooring fixtures at Valetta, I was sent to Corsica. Outcasts can be especially rude to a Kusarian up until the point I started mentioning your name. After that, I even got a tour at R&D while they checked my ship. I got to look at all sorts of ships moored, armor compositions, guns, more guns, and even more guns. Also had to listen to some technical details I never really cared about in the first place.
So, here's the real reason for this comm, besides making you go through another message. There will be a destroyer commissioned under our flag soon. Another Storta, going by the name Vesuvio. Nothing out of the ordinary, right?
Up until the point they started talking about a set of turrets. This already sounded like a red flag, knowing some of those people at R&D. I was prepared to listen to another bullshit story like "guns found in a nebulae" ; "Reverse engineered while on a cardamine binge" ; "Glowing orbs gave us the knowledge". But no. Something much simpler. Partial blueprints/almost working prototypes for the mass driver called "Mauler" were already on the grey and black market. Our engineers adapted it for this very cruiser, for testing purposes. ....Yeah. They printed a gun. From the neural net. Even though it's probably closer to hacking a gun together and hoping it works.
I was tasked to ask for your permission to use those guns on the newly commissioned warship. All their friendliness was just to use me as a glorified carrier pidgeon.
Long winded, I know. I figured you missed that old fuck Unioner who could never keep his mouth shut.
So, yay or nay on the semi-printed guns?
En servicio de Loyola, (Hey, that's you!)

Oh, hello Keiko. I am not exactly an expert at the tech or shipbuilding, but I am glad that my names make certain people behave better with you. As for war with Bretonia yes, they seemed to hold us for complete idiots of kind that they colonize usually. There is an urge to act quickly and decisively before they set up on the stage properly. With Gallia falling to Confederation there is not a single reason to stay in this weird configuration that we were put back in the day by some people.
I have had my reports on heavy assets under production, including Vesuvio, I just wonder why are you getting involved. To be fair, you are still a foreigner and I'd not suggest sticking your pretty Kusarian nose too deep into R&D stuff. Please don't take it as an offense, but R&D is a really sensitive topic. Also please pass the names of those who actually told you all this stuff. I will have a word with them.
I mean I don't ask you to forget what you already know or cease on your apparent research of gun printer. Just a friendly suggestion to not get involved any deeper into that shit.
I also kind of missed your apparent appointment to Vesuvio, but whatever, if you are hyped by this, then you may as well be there. As for experiments with printed guns, as I said I am not a tech expert, not that I care. You may test it, but if it causes damage to the ship or whatever, you are in deep trouble. I guess that's how it will work.
As for Dragons, it was just that one group that was annoying, others that I've met seemed to be alright. I don't know, Kusari seems to be really depressing and now we are getting real problems to deal with. Anyway, if you decide to run those tests let me know how it went, Because I will be slightly worried. Maybe.

Hi En,
To be fair, I wasn't told too much regarding the ship itself. From what I was told, I would just need to aquire permission for those guns to be fitted on that specific ship. Nothing more, nothing less. Supposedly, you were too busy to deal with them last time? I don't know, I didn't listen for the most part. Guess I'll just pass on your approval, and be done with this whole melodrama. I don't want anything more to do with this, but hey, maybe you'll recieve a few more angry complaints as to why I was even on that base. Wouldn't that be a fun read?
Aaanyways. Are you on vacation? When am I getting paid leave?
Why would I be involved in the tech stuff if I am not competent there? I prefer not to do things I don't understand, for example, I have actual officers planning our operations and only giving them general directions. I manage the business and deal with people. And yes, as I said you can put those guns on under your own responsibility, I don't mind it.
Yes, I am at Costa Grande at equator right now, if you will get free in time you can come over and count it as your paid vacation or whatever. I am not socialist, I just pay people money you know... You are getting me confused. But ye, let me know if you will be able to join me, I will reserve you the number. You are my favorite Kusarian at the moment so.
