Primary faction theme is Celtic, we prefer characters to be of Irish, Scottish, Welsh or Breton style. More traditional for Bretonia English style is also most welcomed. We are going to have a rather limited quota on foreign characters.

Background
The Founders Day Revolt in 752 AS is the official and most commonly recognized point from where the Molly movement starts. Since the gold rush into Dublin begun, the harsh and unforgiving BMM policy of squeezing as much profit as possible has led to impossibly hard conditions of labour paired with incredibly low payment roll. After a number of protests, that were simply ignored, desperate gold miners in Dublin had no other choice but to revolt. Rebellion against BMM initially have had some success and several mining ships were captured. Soon after that miners were confronted with the punitive Bretonia Armed Forces expedition. There's no doubt that rebellious miners were truly tough folk, but their mining ships stood no chance in open battle against properly equipped and trained military force.
Mollys were forced to retreat and regroup, the process was rapid, and soon miners have started to master the tactics of guerrilla war, which were proved to be effective. Despite having limited resources, Mollys' tactics and its execution in real operations soon started to force immense efforts on the side of the Bretonian Government to remain its very presence in the system. The most notable operation against battleship Hood has forced BAF to eventually abandon ship, taking everything that was valuable with them.
The Dublin Republic is yet another attempt to establish a centralized government and military to the Molly movement. Despite being called the Republic, the political program means making a state where the military has a strong influence over society and holds the government under their control. The Republic's doctrine is assuming the concentration of all available power belongs to Mollys in Dublin. The Command of Dublin Republic believes that now is the best moment since the end of the Gallic War to strike Bretonia and push them off the Molly space.

Diplomacy
Allied (0.9)
Other Mollys cells – our brethren. They may be part of a different cell but we all follow the same goal which once will be achieved.
Friendly (0.55)
ALG Waste Disposal – has publicly made itself an enemy of Bretonia and a friend of the IMG while being open to cooperation with us.
Independent Miners Guild – also miners. Also independent. Also have had beef with the Lobsterbacks. One can see as many similarities to understand why we are on friendly terms with each other. And although we'd prefer the IMG to be more hostile to the Brets as before, they are still our brothers in strife.
Red Hessians – they hate the tans as much as we do. They also respect our borders and unlike the commies of the Coalition are not obsessed with converting us to communism. They mind their business in Rheinland, we mind our business in Bretland, we both hate the tans, we drink whiskey, they drink schnaps - everyone is happy.
Technocracy of Auxo – they contacted us first and showed respect toward the Mollys. We answered in the same way. The Auxo also supplying the Republic with goods we can't product ourselves. Moreover, they, like us, stand against the tyranny of Bretonian Crown and want to see their regime burn.
Neutral (0.0)
Zoners – free-spirited folks of the fringe but without the spine to fight for their land. Can at times be a tad useful with shippings as long as they don't interfere with our business. Ignore and be ignored.
Junkers – the middlemen of underground business in Sirius. We mine gold and sell it to the Junekrs in exchange for scrap of other goodies they can lay hands on. Sometimes especially audacious Junkers can try to rob you. In that case - make scrap out that junker, other Junkers will not mind most likely. They deal with all sorts of folk, including cardiheads of Malta and the cannibals of Crete, so do not entrust them with your secrets but simply sell and buy.
Wary (-0.55)
Coalition – situational alliance with the commies served its purpose. After a while their started encroaching on our autonomy feeding us with communism. Well, it is most unwise to teach the Mollys on how to resist the Bretonians, and even more unwise to teach the free folk of Dublin how to build freedom. While we do not care what the "reds" do outside of our turf, they are unwelcome in Dublin. Should they forget it - send them to their favourite dead chiefs.
Enclave – successor to the Kingdom of Gallia, yet more military junta than royalist. They destroyed Belfast in Newcastle, but we found our retribution when Carillon has fallen in Dublin. Nevertheless, now the Enclave is trying to establish neutrality with us and this may benefit us in our campaign against the Crown.
Outcasts – mutants from Malta, well know for their drug called Cardamine. Our people should not ever be cursed by that thing and therefore they are not welcome aboard of our installations and ships, or even in vicinity to our bases. However, they can be useful in our campaign against the Crown.
Hostile (-0.7)
Colonial (Crayter) Republic – they only recently became the enemy of the Republic, due to their involvement with the Aland Crisis and being ally of Bretonia in general.
Gaians – it appears that the fate of some distant wildlife is more important to the Gainas and their benefactors than the fate of their fellow humans. When miners in Dublin were treated worse than mules, the Gaians were complaining about animals in zoos and pristine conditions of Gaia that nobody cared about. This idealism combined with them serving as lackeys to the Brets at certain occasions put us on the different sides of the ideology spectrum. While hunting them down is as useless as the Gainas themselves, stand firm if they infringe our operations and trespass in Dublin. I heard they don't like humans consuming animal for food, so the best way to handle a Gaian captive is to give him over to the Corsairs so that they can die saving animals by substituting them at Corsairs' dinner table.
At War (-0.9)
Corsairs – expansionist man-eating bunch from Crete who smuggle artefacts on the side and for some reason call themselves "an Empire". While technically we do not care about them, their interfering with everything around us, attempting to swarm Gran Canaria with their people, steal our gold, and make us submit does not pose us to be their friends. Their shooting the Brets is beneficial, however, so if you see a Bret fighting a Sair - pop up your whiskey and wait for the victor so that you can award him with the survivor's prize - death by a Molly.
Bretonian authorities – the brets, the lobsterbacks, the tans, and a plethora of other derogatory and funny words to describe the Bretonian Authorities. When we, the folk of Dublin, were dying to inhumane working conditions of the BMM - they did not bat an eye. When we took the tools to smash the skulls of the fat BMM clerks w*nking in their offices while we were dying in mines - the Brets lost their minds. It tells a lot about how the Brets treat their own populace, and why you should not feel pity for killing them because in their opinion "carrying out justice in the name of the Queen and the people of Bretonia" is to subdue the revolting miners and put them on a leash for the BMM to continue their best working practice in Sirius. No remorse, no hesitations, no prisoners.
Bretonia corporations – one reason to hate all Brets' corps altogether: the BMM. Other corps, whatever they might be doing to make cash, are sympathetic to the BMM because of their capital being intertwined and because the rich only care about themselves and thus the connections to the other rich. Has any of the Bret corps ever condemned the BMM labour conditions prior to the revolution? But have they condemned the Mollys when we started our resistance for the lives of ourselves nad our children? Surely they did. Well, the payback is here. Should you see one of them in space - send them regards from the Dublin with love.
Nemesis (-1.0)
Bretonia Mining and Manufacturing – the very reason we are fighting Bretonia. The epistome of corporate exploitation of the common folk of Bretonia. They lured us into the mines of Dublin with promises of "hard pain, hard gain". In reality, we got only the former and when we demanded the latter - we were cast down and treated as slaves. In the view of the slothful and corrupt BMM businessmen we were not worthy thinking about as an asset and ultimately expendable. Well, our small revolution proved they were expendable to us either. With Bretonian state apparatus at their back they did not feel the impetus to change and thought themselves beyond any responsibility and punishment for what they had done to us. It is our duty then, friends, to show them wrong. Nobody knows if gods exist, but hell exists for sure because that is exactly what the BMM chaps gonna face when seeing Molly ships on their scanners.
