So make the Zoners even easier to control? I'm sure everyone else will love that.
For now the optimal solution seems to be making Aquilon into proper warship (BS for people who want to farm nomads, for instance), and Neph into proper colony ship (Super liner-like thing, like heavier Bustard, for people who want to RP a colony ship).
Further regulation could be made with ID/IFF if the need arises, I believe.

This in my opinion feels like a good solution to the argument of people finding nephs farming nomads to be RP breaking.
The second part about the IFF and ID are in my opinion not needed.

There is a danger in secrets, both in seeking and in knowing. Some things are meant to be hidden from view. Some mysteries defy understanding, and sometimes even the things we think we know are untrue. Some secrets should remain untouched.

Better to keep means of Nephilim and defensive capabilities the same. Just like in vanilla intro colony ships managed to break though Coalition blockade, colony ship and its defensive capabilities is a vital part of survival. And same goes for Zoner Nephilims, they are supposed to be powerful and well armored against Nomads, who's not rare to be seen in Omicrons.

We are discussing a colony ship design for randoms living at the edge of civilized space, not a sleeper ship design for the major nations/houses. Keep that in mind.
