Jean-Michel approached to Melun after a short flight from Burgundy, Nevers, after putting his second officer in charge of the Duquesne. His request to land was denied at first, however after mentioning the name Julien Danton, a docking bay immediately opened, arranged in pristine condition for his fighter. The ex-GRI station was changed in design. Mostly switching to a brown-orange palette instead of royal blues and whites. Suddenly Jean-Michel's comm device made a beep. "Director Danton here, who are you and how do you know me?" The director, now working under OCI, furiously yet curiously said. "I am Capitaine Jean-Michel Pelletier, Reserve Fleet. I wish to speak with you, for a delicate matter." Danton was calmer, yet answers he was looking for unsatisfied, asked more things. "That still does not explain how do you know me, Capitaine Pelletier.""Vailiant." muttered from Pelletier's lips, which was enough to silence the director, now pale as snow. "I-I see...Mo-monsieur, meet me at my room, I will send someone to direct you there." Jean-Michel smiled. "Good. You learn." said to himself, after closing the comm device.
Someone came and then Jean-Michel followed the person to Danton's quarters. The quarter was a dual-purpose room nowadays. Both a meeting room and workstation. "Take a seat, monsieur Pelletier. We have a fine selection of drinks and food available." Jean-Michel took a seat, however instead of ordering a drink, nodded at the director to also sit. Director ordered himself a light wine. "You are...an associate of Commandant Vailliant then. I remember that one. What brings a Reserve Fleet captain to my office?" Jean-Michel did not say anything, but pulled a PDA from his inner pocket and powered the device. Opened a folder named "Seizure" and then opened a subfolder named "GALE". It had a schematic. "Now you know what I require." The director looked at what seemed like gibberish at first. Then realised the plans were in Hispanic. "Capitaine, how did you even acquire those plans?""Salvaged from exploding bits of our enemies, Data skimming, combat analysis, enemy ship computers as a whole, you name it.""Those are Hispanic origin. Your way of acquisition involves Outcasts. However I have not heard of Outcast prototype armaments so far. They are more interested in making experimental ship designs.""I am not concerned with origin of those. I want those plans deciphered, reverse engineered and manufactured and the only thing I know is, those are guns. Do not even dare to decline this request. Otherwise you will have bigger problems than your little office. Outcasts are strenghtening their borders with us. So this project is paramount importance. There will be more to come, sooner or later." Director could only swallow his pride. He knew this captain fought for Council before the Assembly, and what he could do to him, with Vailliant's support, while being in an OCI base at the same time. He barely kept himself from shaking and just nodded, with eyeing the door. Jean-Michel nodded back and dropped a note into Danton's comm after reaching the hangar allocated to his fighter. "I will await them on Avalon."

Jean-Michel docked once again with Melun. This time nobody questioned, nobody diverted attention. He did not cause a stir either. Just silently moved through corridors to Julien Danton's office. Danton was informed of Jean-Michel's arrival, which was the only formality made Jean-Michel wait. Danton's mind started racing about possibilities. What could the influential captain want again? Was it a regular visit or irregular visit? Just as his adrenaline rose and anxiety took over, Jeam-Michel appeared at the door. The Director let him in. His hands tied at his back, he greeted Jean-Michel. "Good afternoon, Capitaine. Please take a seat." Director said. Jean-Michel nodded and took the seat. "Thank you for not making me waiting. As you know, we are fighting a war and our schedule accelerates day by day." Director's face went pale. "Y-You want more weapons." Jean-Michel smiled, satisfied. "You learn very well." Jean-Michel opened a PDA and chose several files, some weapon blueprints appeared. First one was one the Director was now familiar with. "GALE" "SLEDGE" "THUMPER" "AUTOPULSE" codenames and their encrypted blueprints appeared. "You know how to make the first one. I need the others decrypted. We have working samples of "AUTOPULSE" and "SLEDGE" recovered from battlefield in intact conditions, however we need to reproduce more copies. As for "THUMPER" I require your work to understand this weapon." The Director stared at those for some time and calculated things in his head. "I need the working samples with me to reverse engineer, as for the last blueprint, we will figure a way out." Jean-Michel furiously grabbed Danton by the neck and slammed him to the wall. "Do not choke on your aspirations, Director. Are you aware I need those weapons for an ongoing war to protect CORE GALLIC VALUES? Giving you the samples is NOT an option! Forget that and do your work the classic way. I can not pull my ship out of service for easing your work. Even this very moment we speak, my warship is under my XO's care." As Jean-Michel said this, he easened his grip and let the Director have some air, as fresh as it can be. The Director had no choice but agree with the Captain. "I will see it done in due time, Capitaine."
