Official broadcast from Kōkyo, Imperial district, New Tokyo system, House Kusari.
The Empire of Kusari hereby declares war on the Confederacy of Gallia and its States (namely the Minarchy of Provence, the Grand Duchy of Burgundy & the République of Gallia).
The Kusari Naval Forces shall do their utmost in prosecuting the objectives requiring this war. Our public servants, the Keiretsu, the people of Kusari shall perform their respective duties faithfully and diligently and with a united will shall mobilize their strength so that nothing will miscarry in the attainment of our war aims.
In order to ensure the continued stability of the neighboring region and to contribute to the persecution of crimes committed by the people of Gallia against the Sirian people, as well as total annihilation of any weapons capable of mass destruction and genocide still in possession of the people of Gallia – with the blessing of our August Emperor, Kogen Tetsuya of Nara - the Empire of Kusari will proceed with actions required to ensure the nation of Gallia never to become a sizeable threat to the Sirian people, but especially the people of Kusari, ever again.
May long be our realm,
May bright be our House light upon the far reaches of space.
In the name of the Empire of Kusari,
Sanae Miyasu - Imperial Prime Minister of Kusari
I am the GRAND Nathan de Montfort, speaker of the Parisian Assembly. Allow me to convey the DISPLEASURE and DISAPPOINTMENT of the Parisian Assembly in relation to the rushed and unwarranted hostilities by the Empire of Kusari.
First of all, the Confederacy denies the Empire's accusations in relation to causing instability in the region or to possession of weapons of mass destruction or anything capable of genocide. Furthermore, the Confederacy denies responsibility for the crimes of the Kingdom of Gallia, primarily for not associating ourselves with the ideals and methodology of the previous Gallic regime, secondarily for those crimes precede the formation of the Confederacy itself.
We believed that the KUSARIAN VALUES were more REFINED. They just sound like peasantry valours compared to ours, sadly we were thinking otherwise before this.
Should you be willing to revoke this declaration, we are open to negotiations about any actually valid accusations and supporting evidence you may have at your disposal.
Should you be willing to hold onto your intent of war, we will consider it as an unfounded incursion into and assault on the Confederacy of Gallia, wage the war in its defense to the best of our abilities, and consider any previous agreements made during peaceful times between the Confederacy of Gallia and the Empire of Kusari to be forfeit, null and void.
To conclude my message, I would like to ask you: Does the Empire of Kusari intend to uphold its declaration of war against the Confederacy of Gallia? We suggest you to think wisely about this. You don't want to experience the wrath of the CORE GALLIC VALUES.
Nathan de Montfort
Speaker of the Parisian Assembly
