Séverine appears on the screen, her arms behind her back, proudly wearing her tailor-made suit.
Dia Augustopolou...
As this is the first time we meet, let me introduce myself.
I am the Commandant Séverine Bremond de Montavaut. I bet you were expecting an answer from l'Amiral Pierre Vaillant, but you understand that the Marine is currently busy with the recent declaration of war from Kusari... (and their traitorous ambitions)...
She thought for herself.
Premièrement, thank you for your devotion to protecting Gallia and your help during the supplying mission, you've done a remarkable work, we couldn't hope less from one of the GRANDES gallic corporations. Nevertheless, we will take care of the rest of the ship supplies from now on.
Cependant, you know that our work is far from over. L'Amiral Pierre Vaillant already explained why, and what we are expecting from you : Nuclear Devices and Ship Hull panels from Rheinland.
A risky travel as you pointed it out...
She said with a slight grin on her face.
We are well aware of the Hessian threat in Cologne system, and naturally, we will provide you some support to cross the area. La Marine will contact the La Fierté battlegroup and ask them to send a wing of fighters to escort your transports.
As for the delivery point, bring the resources to Rambouillet Shipyard. We will inform the dockmasters of mooring platform 5 and ask them to prepare their storage units for your arrival.
We also agree on another thing...
Her gaze looked more serious.
The Nuclear Devices shall not fall in the dirty hands of the Hessians. I have to inform you of the directives our fighters will follow, and that you should follow as well during this operations, the choice is yours. If ANYTHING happens that let some of the devices drifting freely in space, they will recover what they can and destroy what's left.
Now, with that said, we need one more thing. The time and day of the operation. We will be readying our forces, the rendez-vous is yours to decide.
We will wait for your answer, Dia Augustopolou.
Au revoir.
Severine greeted with a slight wave, as the picture faded.

Dia Augustopolou,
A large holographic image of Vaillant sitting on his command chair appeared. We could see the old Kingdom of Gallia emblem on the back of the chair as it was not facing the screen. Suddenly, the chair turned in a fast move towards the luminous screen showing up a determined Vaillant holding a glass of wine in his right hand.
My men reported me that the convoy has been a total success so far. The professionalism of your men is what we need in such dire times.
It appears the convoy didn't suffer any threat from the Hessians in Cologne. Much more surprising, I have heard a small skirmish happened between the escort and the Enclave in Picardy. Something that still didn't impact the outcome of the events however.
These Nuclear Devices will be very useful for the upcoming weeks. Not less important, our stock of Ship Hull Panels has to be increased quickly, as I explained earlier. The Marine will provide you a solid escort once again.
Inform us when your transports are ready for this convoy.
Sincèrement
Vaillant greeted with a gesture of the head while the holographic image was disappearing.

It is indeed concerning that Enclave ships managed to venture that deep into Gallia, however I saw the cargo reach Rambouillet safe and sound.
I believe we will be able to deliver the Ship Hull Panels without the assistance of MNG ships, knowing that you are occupied elsewhere currently. Cargo that's not necessarily as high-value as Nuclear Devices should be less of an incentive for Rheinlander pirates to attempt to steal and IDF escort wings should do just fine against such threats.
However, I believe that at least another shipment of Nuclear Devices will be necessary to fill your quotas. We will inform you soon when our transports will be available for that.

As expected, the situation grew dire. With Lorraine and Languedoc partially lost and Kusari advancing into our Core Worlds, our time is limited.
Pamiers and Epinal have been damaged during the enemy blitz, Pamiers being in a worrisome situation. The Hull Panels will be really necessary and vital for us in order to push the Kusarians back.
You are right, we will need more nuclear devices for a later use. The Marine is ready to offer you a strong escort through the dangerous areas of Cologne. Inform us when you are eventually ready.

I am contacting you on another subject this time: La Charité. The Marine has started talks with some Kusarian rebels and it appears they can conduct a military operation in Tau-53 and free the station so it can return it into your hands when the conflict is over.
Nevertheless, we need all the available datas as possible regarding La Charité internal layout, defensive capabilities and lockdown procedures. It is pointless to put so much efforts in this if the result is the complete destruction of the station. Do you have any information regarding the possible presence of Gallic civlians onboard La Charité as well?

Representatives of IDF,

It has been some time and I hope you are doing a good business despite these dire times. It will be up to you to find the corresponding term -bad or good news- to the reason for which I am coming to you this time.
Earlier today, the Parisian Assembly asked the Marine to organize some kind of special convoy leading to the Omicrons in order to bring back to Ile De France System valuable and rare objects such as Xeno Relics and Artifacts. If my memory serves, the Corsairs are known to have access to these resources and our current relations are more than appreciable with them.
Unfortunately, the Marine is fully focusing on the conflict that opposes us to the Kusarians and our logistic is currently unavailable to satisfy the task given by the Assembly. Hency why I am now requesting your services. Rest assured however the Marine is able to bring a solid escort to this dangerous operation.
