As the riots on Veracruz continue Insurgency Command was hard pressed for a decision on how to calm its citizens and continue rebuilding the Insurgency. There needed to be something the people of Veracruz could rally behind. Names were tossed and one happened to be Asmodeus. Before taking on the moniker of Asmodeus, Jonathan Kalh was well known on Guadalajara as it was once known. Becoming a citizen of the Commonwealth and earning the trust of then Lord Commander Locklear. The Osiris Amenhotep was looked upon by the citizens of the planet in awe as it stood against the oppression of the Liberty Navy and fought against the Nomads. However the Citizens on Veracruz did recognize the ship but not its Captain.
Asmodeus went planet side to try and attempt to bring peace back to the Planet as his former self. With the help of Hercules "mover" ships The Amenhotep hovered high above Heroica City for a brief moment to gather the attention of its citizens and then on every news outlet, every channel a message was relayed by Asmodeus.
"Citizens of Heroica and of the Insurgency I am Asmodeus Captain of the Amenhotep. I realize you have seen our ship before but you do not recognize me. This suit keeps me alive and unfortunately I am unable to take it off without medical supervision. You have seen me before. I was and still am Jonathan Kalh. The Captain of the Amenhotep who served you under Lord Commander Locklear and who continues to serve you now under Fleet Admiral Knight. I know you must be scared but the time for panic is over. The Commonwealth betrayed you, betrayed us and in their treasonous actions many of your bothers, sisters, fathers, mothers, friends have died. I stand here before you fully committed to continue serving you and ask that you return to your homes. Continue to forge a good life for you and your families. Time are tough but we will get through them if we work together."
As the signal dies out Asmodeus is quickly shuttled back to the Amenhotep where he belongs and news outlets in space record the Famed Osiris standing guard near Veracruz giving a sense of protection to its people. For this night the Citizens of Veracruz slept soundly in their beds. What happens tomorrow is anyone's guess.
