Hey there, Olivia,
Makes me happy that you weren't worried about me, at least that's one weight off your shoulders - can't have my safety in mind along with all other things you're doing out there. Can't say I've been getting -too- drunk, just enough to not cry myself to sleep every night, honestly.
I'd hate to come visit the Omegas while you have business going on honey. I really want to spend some time with you but that doesn't mean I want to take time off your business - after all, the faster you're done with that the faster you'll be able to spend your time with me again. I do worry about the unlawful elements out there however, I don't think they'd be very happy of a bounty hunter showing up around these parts.
It's good to hear from you too Olivia, I'd really like to get in touch with you soon.
"Yes, the subject -is- in fact true, I am back already! I was hoping I'd see you in space but it turned out you were nowhere around, so instead I'll this your way. Should give you a nice wake-up smile to know I'm okay and that I am back safely. However... if you have any intention of keeping that smile on your face I would suggest stopping that recording here.
So... ugh.. yeah... Still here? I was really hoping not. Anyway, I should talk about our journey. We passed through Rheinland, Michael had to make a few stops on our way there to get things that I later on learned about, but our journey was relatively peaceful to start off. We went to Sigma-15 and then to Omicron Rho. After Rho we jumped to Zeta and headed towards Omicron Iota.... That's where things started being a little... odd.
Well... Nomad lanes and jumpgates are pretty fun to traverse, even though it's scary experience the first time, now other than that... we may or may not have ended up in Omicron Major and we may or may not have ventured a bit too close to the Dyson Sphere. The view there is amazing though. After we took a little break just above the horizon and some odd clouds of death, and after what felt like him proposing to me with all the goodies he gave me we dove back in so that he could do his actual assignment.
Now that... That was probably the most near-death experience I've ever had. I did manage to take a picture for you as we were leaving, trying to kill myself in the process, but what we found was scary. We found a massive jumpgate. A -really- massive jumpgate. Just sitting on top of that thing would intimidate anyone, I'll patch in the picture I took for you to see."
"You should be able to enlarge the image by tapping on it, but you should be able to tell the ugh... the sheer size of that thing... Yeah... Anyway! That's about it. We found it, he took some readings, and we left to come back home. Nothing overly dangerous of course...
Please don't be too mad at me."
"Take care, love."

I'm gonna keep this brief. I'm heading out to the Taus for a while. I heard through the grapevine that the Crayter Republic is having increased problems with the sniffers again. Now, I'm no particular fan of the Crayterians, but I much prefer them over those Maltese gene-freaks, so I'm going to offer the Republic my services and do my part in keeping them a dominant force in the Taus. Last thing I want is for the Outcasts to run rampant there entirely unchecked.
Sorry for letting you know on such short notice but this is a bit of an impulse decision. I'm having the techies take a look at my Sutinga aboard San Diege Border Station right now and am gonna get on my way within the hour.
"Thank you for getting in touch with me about that. I wish you never had to, but the Taus are your home after all and it's only natural that you'll want to head out there and help against the Maltese. Please, take care of yourself, don't do anything stupid and don't let yourself be hired against impossible odds.
Don't worry about it, you sent a comm my way and that's all that matters. I'll you updated if anything significant or important enough happens in Liberty, I hope you do the same, don't leave me in the dark! How long do you think you'll be out for, got any predictions?"
"Take care of yourself, love."

When's the last time I did something stupid? Apart from maybe letting you go out with Wyatt.
I'm not sure how long I'll be out there, but I imagine it won't be much more than a week at most. It depends on how much work I can find, really - and on how pleasant my employers will be. I'll try to stay in touch regardless.
Finally found a moment to get a breather and keep you up to date, as promised. I'm not gonna sugarcoat anything, it's pretty intense out here. It feels like the Crayterians and sniffers are throwing everything they've got at each other and I'm getting a front row view of it all. Haven't gotten myself spaced yet and I'm actually making a fair bit of cash while I'm at it. At least I will once my bounties are paid out. I guess that might take a while, what with the Guild and Republic being rather preoccupied with fighting a war. But both parties have been very accommodating so far - room and board are all covered.
My ship's taken quite a beating, though, but nothing that the miners can't buff out with a little spit and grease - which, judging by their ships, are their main components. I'll try to wear her down a little less in the days to come, wouldn't want her to give out on me in the middle of combat.
Speaking of which, I'd better keep an eye on the situation out here. Battle could erupt at a moment's notice. So that's all for now.
"It's good to know that you haven't gotten yourself spaced yet, but I can't say I feel better about you leaving now that I know the chaos that unfolds out there. Please, do take care and stay as safe as you can, and for God's sake do some proper maintenance on your ship even if that means leaving the Taus and heading towards Bretonia. It would really be a shame if your Sutinga -was- to give up on you mid-flight, I would never hear from you again and none of us would want that, so please.. get your baby fixed up properly.
Sorry for taking that long to respond back to you, I've been pretty 'off' since you were gone, I don't think I've touched my ship the past week even, I decided I'd say off radar and take a break from space for a few days - while you were gone too. It gave me a good chance to get a breather knowing that you won't be waiting for me outside too, which is why it took me a while to even notice the message.
So I can safely say that in my side of things, I am alright. Nothing special has happened since you left and as promised if something happens I will let you know.
Thank you for the message, Olivia."
"Fly safely, my darling."

Don't worry too much, it's not like I'm trying to joust Maltese dreadnoughts in a fighter. I'm sticking to targets my ship and I can actually handle. The only real problem is that there's so damn many of them. You shoot down one bomber only for two more to take its place. But hey, the miners did a surprisingly good job of fixing up the Sutinga. She looks a little odd right now - they didn't have armor plating in the right color, so I'm stuck with patches of their trademark feces-brown; but at least its sturdy stuff. So, no need to worry about her falling apart around me, at least for now.
If you're gonna spend your Olivia-less time planetside, you may as well catch up on all the paperwork I'm sure you have stacking up around you. That's just part of being a high-ranking cop, better get used to it.
I'll drop you another message if anything more interesting happens out here. Till then, take care.

Heya,
Just thought I'd give you a heads-up that I'm back in Liberty. Just got my ship properly fixed up at Newark - glad to see they have proper Renzu components on stock.

Heya,
I'm surprised this channel's still open. Haven't had to use it in a while, that's for sure. I just wanted to let you know that I've gone on my trip out of Liberty. I thought I'd stick around longer and actually tell you when I'd leave, but things got a little hectic and I decided to bail out on an impulse.
I'm visiting an old pal of mine out in Tau-31 and don't know yet where I'll go from there. Bretonia, maybe, or Kusari. We'll see.
Don't burn down Liberty while I'm gone. Or do, actually. Maybe that'd be for the best.
