It was eerily silent in Andover's main hangar. Everything was crisp and clean and not an item out of place. Both Chloe, the Head of Development, and Ethan, the Load Master, wanted everything to be perfect for the arrival of Ms Lefevre and her team because after all first impressions were key. These people had the experience that the Andover team were looking for to help them complete the task at hand. This could be revolutionary technology that could massively help in revitalising Bretonia's stability and infrastructure.
Chloe and Ethan were the only ones in the hangar as everyone else was asked to vacate. They stood on a small catwalk with railings that overlooked the hangar eagerly awaiting the arrival of their ship.
I don't think I have ever been this anxious waiting for someone to show. 30 seconds feels like an entire lifetime at the moment spoke Chloe in a soft whisper that made it evidently clear she was nervous.
I don't think you'll have to wait much longer said Ethan as he pointed towards a ship entering a hangar. This looks like them.
Meanwhile, aboard the Idris in the meeting room Jeanne explained the behavior and rules that her team has to follow. She was visibly nervous as she never entered bretonian space in a peaceful manner or even tried to dock on a station. While the docking procedure was in progress Jeanne prepared herself and her gift for Mr. Hudson. She took a last look at the nicely wrapped sword to make sure that it looks perfect to not dishonor the host and administrator of this project.
Once the docking procedure was completed she and her crew got ready and prepared to walk out of the ship. Jeanne took the lead with her clean armor and her sister Marie with a similar armor followed right behind her.
Without much hesitation the whole crew started to line up and Jeanne and her sister stood infront. Jeanne went down on one knee and bowed her head down.
My name is Jeanne Lefevre, first engineer of La Division Vipère. Please take this gift as a sign of respect and honor. We wish to apologize what happened in the past and hope that our cooperation will lead to a new and bright future for both of us.
