Reshade is DirectX 9 minimum, and Freelancer is DirectX 8. You could trying using wine3d or dxd8to9, but from what I hear Freelancer tends to have major rendering pipeline issues at times from using these utilities due to the lack of shaders and such (using a traditional pipeline approach as was common back in 2003).
I've thinked of publishing my final preset when I'm done, so that everyone could have the same. I'm using the Nvidia graphic panel too, the game looks amazing.
