Hello, everyone. I know that there are knowledgeable and experienced players who understand all this, and those who do not understand and insist on their "truth", but I would like to talk about something interesting.
To begin with, the Discovery mod uses camera distance, and native resolution for widescreen monitors (Maybe I'm wrong?). What is it for and why:
To ensure that players with large-format monitors do not have an advantage in PvP, against players with old monitors.
At the same time, in my opinion, there is an advantage for players with old monitors, namely, their sight moves "correctly" according to the screen ratio, and for players with large - format monitors, this very sight moves as with the standard resolution of the old monitor. Which causes the mouse to turn on hypersensitivity, mouse acceleration-which makes it particularly difficult to aim well.
And so, my tests showed the following: This is the use of JFLP - as we can see, the sight has become the right size, and the mouse has started to move correctly..
This is a standard detection camera, as we can see, the camera is remote(note the stick that sticks out of the docking ring)
As we can see in the screenshots, the camera distance gives the same overview as JFLP - that is, no one has the advantage.
You can clearly see the distance of the camera, between the JFLP and the standard detection camera (it is remote, if someone else has not understood). What I want: Players who play on older monitors get the standard camera distance that is currently used on Discovery, and players who have a widescreen monitor get the option to use JFLP.
