its a cool game that i enjoyed but its far from the revolutionary title cdpr marketed it as (not that anyone is surprised)
character customization has to be the biggest disappointment for me yet, nowhere near as good as mass effect, fallout 4 or the outer worlds
i can only speculate that these features were cut off due to optimization issues, considering they had to switch to next-gen literally two months before the release date (note that they had to postpone this release date at least twice i think?), in reality they should've taken another year to polish the game. the game itself feels like an open beta for now though. CDPR are more than capable of implementing the features they promised, yet switching to nex-gen right when the game was about to release? a very, very poor decision
