Greetings, just a quick question. While running the MK3 survey module does it take 1000 seconds (16.6 minutes) to get a set of coordinates? Is that accurate?
(Prolly wrong subforum for this question but eh, gonna answer anyways)
I don't have the live-server config files but from what I can tell it's the 1000 seconds, yes. It charges with 10 per second until it reaches the 10000 specified in the config file. (again, might be a different value in the live server config files)
Thanks for the information but I am still not clear on how long it takes to get one set of coordinates with MK3 Survey Module. It can not be 1000 seconds (16-17 minutes) because it seems way to long and also a ship can not hold enough fuel to run for 1000 seconds.
Could some one who is actually using a Hyperspace Survey Module Mk3 to post here and clarify this matter. Simple question, how many seconds it takes to get one set of coordinates using MK3 Survey Module.

Yes MK3 takes 16 minutes 40 seconds time
+/- few-ten seconds because of tick time issues.
So be sure to have number of fuel at least few percents more than it is told in guide.
Some problem exists that any NPC bump can disrupt your very long scanning.
Thankfully this issue is already adressed and will be removed completely when new compiled dll will replace current server dlls.
