Kyle Vaughn is how some would call "a radical Junker". He was originally born aboard Beaumont Station, Texas System. With an unremarkable childhood. His passions at that time revolved around ships and money - both of which have carried on up to his adulthood. Surprisingly, he was not even the first of his family to fly a ship, as that honor went to Dover Vaughn - his brother - whom inherited the family's Salvager, which was built with the sole purpose of smuggling goods and defending itself from unwanted authorities rather than actually salvaging scrap from New York's Debris Fields. Unlike Dover, Kyle was obsessed gathering money via legal means by completing side-jobs on Beaumont such as sorting scrap until 823 A.S. It wasn't until 824-825 A.S that the honest Junker took a quick turn and changed his mindset from legal trade to piracy and smuggling, while keeping his own reputation suspiciously clean.
Kyle Vaughn has gathered up in all these years a fair amount of money - money which allowed him to purchase a second-hand Pilgrim Liner. Of course, he couldn't afford the entire Liner in one go, so instead he took a loan from a notorious group of Junkers aboard Invergordon. As such, Kyle had one month to pay off the interest, which slowly built up. Because of this, he resorted to piracy within Omega-3, ruining days of countless traders as he destroyed trading ships left and right to collect their loot or straight up filling his Liner's cargo as much as he could with Ores such as Aluminium from Rheinland and Gold from Bretonia, bringing him about 500 to 600 Million Credits in just a month. This spree had to come to an end, however. The Bretonian Authorities sensed something wrong, and right they were. Kyle had just barely convinced both the police and the military which surrounded him that he was merely admiring the sight of Omega-3's Sun, and not practicing any illegal activities. This was the first time he was so close to being busted. As such, he paid entirely for the loan he owed to the Junkers and went on his own merry way, docking from Station to Station, fixing the Pilgrim Liner with the extra money he had on him, slowly turning it into a walking fortress with luxuriant interior. Other fellow Junkers have become fairly impressed with the work put in The Black Liner, and decided to join its crew, slowly gathering a sizeable population while keeping legal trade as primary source of income.
In 826-827, Kyle Vaughn has founded the Voltaic Junkers after multiple incidents where his radical thoughts slowly developed - first one to start the fire being a Liberty Navy Officer actively attempting to get him behind the bars for crimes that have never been committed; not on Liberty soil, at least. He got fed up with how the authorities treated Junkers, as well as Trading Corporations merely existing with their filth and the Trafalgar disaster in New London. As such, the Voltaics have grown to reflect its founder's view on the Houses, while briefly owning Tarancon, so that they may have a place to deposit all the goods from heists in the Omicrons and Independent Systems. However, he was never able to see his new family come to fruition, as he was wanted by a group of pilots posing as Police for an entire year, until he managed to slowly get rid of them one way or another. When Kyle returned, everything was already declining faster than anticipated. Despite his efforts, the Voltaics eventually faded away due to Kyle's desperate, rash actions - one such representated by a massive convoy of Cardamine going through Kusari. Said convoy has been caught red handed, and due to fears of being exposed despite leaving no survivors, the Voltaic Junkers have separated, going their own merry way.
Nowadays, Kyle Vaughn has a pure hate towards Liberty (and later on Bretonia) going so far that he ended up plotting with unlawfuls into giving local authorities some well deserved headaches. With ties to multiple organizations around Sirius, Vaughn has become a secretive man with an ambitious set of goals he prefers sharing with only a few, if not none. He is fully dedicated to earning money through any means in order to achieve his goals, be it via piracy, smuggling, or leaking information.

"Hey there, beautiful. Thought you could just hide this file and all that? I'm a goddamn mastermind, you fool! I am the most EPIC dude you'll ever see! Writing stuff about me ain't nice, you know. Wait hold on, what's that? Shhhh-nickels! I got busted- Heeeeey, Kyle! How's it hanging, man? Nothing suspicious here, trust me!" - Bit
Bit is an aged Artificial Intelligence which has suffered trauma over the course of aproximately 200 years until being found by Kyle Vaughn aboard a wrecked Bismarck within the Bering system. Bit was activated 626-627 A.S as a prototype to "revolutionize the concept of artificial intelligence" by creating an AI with its own feelings, likes and dislikes that would be developed over the course of its lifespan. Of course, not all things have gone according to plan due to several factors. Bit was employed to "control" a decomissioned Bismarck-Class Warship as an experiment on whether such Artificial Intelligence can develop loyalty towards its country and those that inhabit its ship, starting from automated defenses, enhanced target aquisition, power management, life support and so on. Maybe the manufacturing company was way too confident on their new invention. Judging by the damage done to the warship's hull and interior, it was not an enemy - or a group of enemies - that took the ship down, but rather its own reactor exploding in a remote region of Bering, rendering the skeleton crew dead, and the AI remaining dormant.
Bit was eventually found in 826-827 A.S by Kyle Vaughn, whom it developed an odd relationship with. At first, the AI had no remarkable behavior except a rare glitch where it exhibits a sudden rage, often stopping post-sentence or mid-sentence, realizing the words it just said. Over time, Bit has become more of a "he" than "it", and was eventually mounted on a "Jackdaw"-Class Heavy Fighter, and has progressively improved the ship beyond its parameters, starting from its engines, up to powercore and targetting subsystems. As such, he's become more and more attached to the ship's pilot, Kyle Vaughn. Nonetheless, Bit also developed a strange obsession with Azurite, to the point where he has presented a custom set of blueprints for a new powercore and engine, which later proved to be functioning as a sort of hybrid - functioning both on Plasma (at very little cost) and Azurite (which turns out to drastically improve the vessel's capabilities, and induce a state of excitement upon the AI).
In time, both Bit and Kyle have developed a love-hate relationship, where both conflict on random topics as well as in combat, yet none can effectively just get rid of the other.
"I'm baaaack! Time to delete the rest of this. I'm sure there's nothing important in here, or pleasant to read. Insults all over the place, probs'!" - Bit
