I purchased the game long time ago, with the expansion pass. Was fairly cheap. It's got a steep learning curve but it's hell of fun to play, especially in multiplayer. Only thing that annoyed me so far at most: reconfiguring/reassigning the controls after patches. But I think that got fixed.
Nevertheless, like the X-Series games .. this one doesn't trow the fun and motivation on the player. You got to search for that and do your thing. Still recommend it!
Now, it is free so I'm complaining for no reason here but the audacity on these people!
Epic: "Yes, we want your money. Yes, we acknowledge that you live in the EU and you have have rights. No, even though we make money in your territory, we don't want to uphold your rights."
The EU should really stomp on these practices if I may share my meaning.
"If you click accept you waive your European rights" no bish, if YOU accept my money, you submit to my European rights is how it should be.

"Where Refunds Apply
The Steam refund offer, within two weeks of purchase and with less than two hours of playtime, applies to games and software applications on the Steam store. Here is an overview of how refunds work with other types of purchases."
Drop your pitchfork or raise it against steam too. Common practice across the world that you can return items within 14 days if it didn't get used...

Honestly they probably kind of have to add "disclaimers" like that to avoid memelords buying games, finishing them in less than 2 weeks and then returning them.

you need to buy DLCs to get the same level of advantage
well, probably good then.
Pay to Play game then
In-game stuff for real money is purely cosmetic. nice.
Its not pay to win in the slightest. The only things you buy with real money are cosmetic items.
And the only DLC they released is now included in the base game, all other DLC was free. I have been playing this game since closed beta and never once had to pay to win.
