A very tired Raul Golden appeared on screen, clearly he was not sleeping regularily, and his face was not shaved for a long time either. Dark surroundings with flickering light barely illuminated room around.
Good day? Or night? We have lost track here. One of the experiments went haywire, which caused a powerful EMP blast. Dammit. We asked before for permission to place a platform, where we could do it safely! But damn those bureaucrats, we were not allowed.
Today we were able to restore most of the secondary life support systems and finally were able to eat hot food. You have no idea how it is delicious until you lose it.
We still have problems with docking bays, it appeared we still can't unlock them at the moment. Thankfully your jump drive was finished before the accident and remained in a protected room to be unharmed. We estimate that tomorrow we probably will be able to restore our access and perform the installation.
Even that could be quite a big problem though if we will not restore enough of our equipment. One of our crew will get then Sunburst or something like that, and we will load everything to it for the transfer.
Raul Golden yawns very tiredly and his face falls down to the keyboard. Video continues to go until one of the other workers noticed it and disabled a few minutes later.
Good having news from you again, Mr. Golden, The corridors of Philadelphia Station were getting boring. I must say I was suprised and worried when I saw the flashes coming from your base. The Ulysses is moored here at Philly so we could launch defensive operations in the Pennsylvania System from here.
if you allow, I suggest you have a second in command with a backdoor access to your station, someone of trust, for situations like this.
Now while I understand your position -- and can send a med team your way if your docking bays are working now -- *he looks to his right and makes a motion to someone out of frame as if saying "go there"* I must insist that you please give this project your best attention, as time is running short as enemy activity is spiking up, threatening even this very system. I'm sure you heard about what happened to Tyrone Station.
Ok, three doctors from medical --- *He makes a "what?" expression then gestures 3 with his hand, then facepalms..* --- Sorry, two doctors from the medical team of the Ulysses are ready to deploy in your location if needed. When you can, please update me on how do we proceed.
This is Admiral Romeo, out.

Raul Golden appears on screen looking in much better condition than yesterday.
Good day, Admiral. This time indeed good. We were able to restore access to docking bays and sent our whale ship with loaded jump drive equipment on board to Philadelphia station. If everything went well, you should already get the package.
Medical support would be appreciated, our med bay is really overcrowded at the moment and facing the same issues as the rest of the station. We are getting back to normal though, and we are already able to get all necessary materials from Philadelphia station to speed up our recovery tremendously.
We still have a lot of work ahead of us, so I'll hurry to return back to work. Good luck.
☆ Subject: Jump Drive Mk.IV (thanks)
TEXT BEGINS NOW:
Dear Mr. Golden,
Just dropping a quick note to thank you. The Jump Drive is operational and now my Second Officer is working with the crew of other Jump-capable ships in our Strike Force to train the new staff. I'd like to remind you that we can send medical staff to your location should things get weird again.
Despite the delay that wasn't your fault, everything else is 100%.
Thank you again,
--RD
