I bring cordial salutations on behalf of the Technocratic Directorate.
We would like to inquire if the ALG company is able to assist us with a construction project regarding a capital vessel that was recently gifted over to our people, we are interested in restoring this vessel to a customized schematic, for the purpose of defending our home. Naturally, we are required to outsource some of the work to help keep efficient costs regarding this larger project. We think a perfect candidate for their excellency in handling materials and construction efforts lay upon your company, as you may know we think fondly of having an upstanding working relation of collaboration with other organisations to promote a strong bond of growth.
The project in question will be covered by a standard NDA if agreed upon. We are eager to hear from you.
What an interesting project this sounds! There's little our engineers enjoy more than getting their hands on weird technology from across the universe. And of course we are always honoured to help build up the fleets of our allies.
Needless to say our dealings will be conducted in the strictest confidence. Please go on.

Our project isn't quite that exotic as you may possibly anticipate, to a degree. We were provided with a chassis of a Rheinland Carrier from the Buro Des Marinenachrichtendiensts for assistance with the Federals within the civil war. However, we lack a certain man power to commit and execute a design portfolio as our manpower is spread a bit thin between various projects.
Within this design specification, we are required to adapt the vessel to our exotic AXI- propulsion and energy systems, meaning that the archtectural layout and structural plating has to be heavily refitted, meaning the design must evolve to adapt to our technology.
We would like to invite your teams to Elgin for a more thorough briefing on the construction project.
Thank you for your briefing, which my team has now had time to fully analyse. The technology involved is, as you allude to, rather closer to home than I anticipated. On the other hand, this means our engineers are even more ideally suited to the task.
It's with some consternation that I note that Daumann are listed as "prime constructors". It is not acceptable to us to work alongside Daumann on a project like this. This is partly a matter of practicality - we have altogether different cultures and in the aftermath of the war the ill-feeling between us has almost never been more pronounced - and partly one of principle. I am also frankly perplexed at what business they had on a project involving the Büro during the war.
I look forward to your clarification.

We utilize this term as we only understand that Daumann are the primary organisation who erect Rheinlands war machines, thus they are to be considered the native builders. They are an alternative solution due to our diplomatic distance with their organisation. But they would be the most quickest, and perhaps cheapest, as they naturally know how these vessels are made. Daumann, to our knowledge, has not worked with the Buro.
Are we perhaps confused about this? Does ALG also construct vessels for Rheinland? Our knowledge of Rheinland is limited and based upon public knowledge banks, so forgive me if we have mixed some data up.
Aha! It seems there have been some "crossed wires". But if by "prime constructor" you mean original constructor, I understand you. It is true that, though we do produce ships, they fall short of capital ships. However, we are familiar with the Elbe-class: Rheinland's spaceborne technology generally errs on the side of conservatism and, more importantly, we have recent experience in the repair of her capitals during the conflict.
Forgive me for my caution, but you understand that we are taking a risk - divulgence of classified technology, even if that term is little more than a formality at this point, is not something we can easily admit to. To make matters worse, allegiances are fickle in the afterglow of reunification. I understand that the Büro signed off on this project - were they aware that you would contact us? I also see a note of a delivery contract completed by Daumann. Perhaps it would be prudent from this point forward to allow all logistics to be handled by your own ships or those of ours. Belvedere is conveniently located for the supply of metallurgical products.

My apologies for the miscommunication in terminology.
To clarify in regards to the vessel, it is not following the exact one to one copy of the current Elbe vessel design, as it is required to be modified and customized for our technology to be adapted into the vessel. This includes the hull plating being specifically treated. Your concerns for shipping is noted, but we can assure you that all the requires are already gathered, thanks to the open contract you may remember, as your vessels participated.
The Buro were not aware that you would contact us, although I would hope you understand that we do not desire, nor have the interests in, full replication of your technology, not only would it be an insult to Rheinland, they are also highly incompatible with our native technology. It is merely a chassis as a basis to evolve into a new design. A canvas with 'help lines' - as you will.
