If anyone feels like watching a Starlancer playthrough at 2021 in case you haven't played the game before or you have but wanna take a sip of 'lets remember', come remember with me!
I'll upload the entire game in episodes, each episode containing a few missions. No commentary, just gameplay, cinematics and missions being restarted 13 times over because I'm a perfectionist.
Disclaimer(s):
1) Keep in mind the entire gameplay you're seeing is played with a keyboard using arrow keys, try not to cringe too hard if the movements seem off at times.
2) I am not using any HD texture mods on the game, just a vanilla 2000s Starlancer installation.
Yes, I did spend 57 minutes and 31 seconds restarting the same mission over and over again until I got it perfectly. Spoiler alert, I didn't end up finishing it perfectly. I was not strong enough.
Why is this mission so hard?

Thanks Kage
Whoops, forgot to reply to that.
Cheers man, I'm glad you're enjoying the series. In case you are unaware of the lore, Starlancer is basically Freelancer's prequel in terms of storyline. The Alliance and the Coalition war depicted in Starlancer is essentially what lead to Freelancer, with the Alliance launching the five sleeper ships to escape the war and establish a new beginning somewhere else.
Mission 15 is close to impossible on hard difficulty. I cannot imagine the pain I've got in front of me 'till the end.
PS: I hate you Black Guard, your Basilisks are op. "I'm getting fluctuations in the lower discharge frequencies." I don't even know if this line makes sense but I've heard it so much I'm never forgetting it.
This is fantastic stuff. I was under the impression that the game required a joystick, but I've just checked the manual and it seems you can play it with a keyboard without needing a mod. Is this right?

You are completely right. The gameplay you're seeing is pure vanilla installation Starlancer (with the necessary software to run at windows 10) and I am playing with a keyboard and mouse! (Mouse for menus, it doesn't do anything during flight.)
Phoenix seems like a cool ship. Definitely nowhere near a replacement for Shroud, but since I wanna use the Shroud as little as possible I'll be using the Phoenix a bit more.
