Greetings to you, Lane Hackers of Vespucci!
My name is Karl, and I work with the LWB. Hmmm, Lane Hackers, that's a strange name. Personally, I have enough problems just activating those tradelanes, let alone anything else. And my holovision recorder still blinks 12:00 constantly. Err, where was I?
Oh, ja! Normally, our two organizations do not have much to do with each other, but it would seem that we both have significant holdings adjacent to the Mackenzie system. This is the subject I was asked to speak to you about. You see, a good portion of our bartering is with the Junkers. We would like to be able to move the few freighters and transports we have to the Junkers' Puerto Rico system, but, because of the war, it is quite dangerous to do so through Hudson and Bering. Our intel tells us that there exist an alternative route through Vespucci, then through systems called Magellan, Kansas, and Humboldt, though I can't say I'm familiar with any of these.
So you see, we would like to obtain the rights to pass through your system for these occasional supply trips. We are willing to offer some of the extra, fresh food we are able to produce in Saar in exchange, or we can bring you some Blood Diamonds from our allies the Red Hessians. We are also willing to pay a passage fee during this excursions. Lastly, we are interested in the purchase of various optical chips from your stocks; Our sources say you often times have extra of quite good quality. Unless you would prefer something else?
At the least, we would be interested in establishing formal diplomatic relations, as well as an offering of sharing our powerful tachyon guns.
I'm not the most technosavvy, so there may have been an issue with this. If you can hear me, the LWB would greatly appreciate if some sort of deal could be struck.

Greetings, Karl. First of all, I would personally wish to apologize on such a delay. Your message came through perfectly well, but due to me and other members of the Legion's High Command being swamped in crucial paperwork, everything was slowed down.
Introductions firstly. I am Lord Commander Aethelu, leader of the Hellfire Legion, but you can just call me Aethelu to make it easier for us. Now, i take it you require permission to fly through our home system. The permission can be granted, however there are some terms i wish to lay out before a deal is stuck.
In exchange for optical chips, the Hellfire Legion will be more than welcome that the LWB would be able to provide us with fresh food. This Synthetic bull****, while does the job most of the time, is rather annoying to consume all the time. the Co-Ordinates for the base that will take deliveries will be sent to you via more secure channels, but for now, you can know the base is known as America Base.
Cash is not a concern, Karl, however due to a variety of reasons, we request the LWB to have ONLY transport ships, and no more than 1 escort ship per transport to traverse through our home system.
I'm sure you would be more than happy to agree to such simple terms. As long as these terms are maintained, the Defence network will give you no trouble, and i will personally let the gunners aboard the Ravager know that your ships are not flying targets anymore.
I would like us to build our relationship first before we begin talks about exchange of weaponry and equipment. Perhaps after we have confirmed delivery of 5000 fresh food cargo containers we could turn the 'relationship' up a notch eh? apart from that, is there anything else you wish to have dealt with while im still here, Karl?
Oh! I'm glad I could get through. My ship is in need of a full system upgrade, so I thought it may be the issue.
Aethelu? That's a strange sounding name - is it Bretonian? I recently visited Bretonia for the first time. It seemed icey.
Err, anyway, I am glad to hear an agreement is reachable! We can begin those shipments of food soon. The ship restriction makes sense - it would be rude to bring a warship to such a place. I'll forward the food idea to our leadership types, but I'm sure we will be able to deliver quite a few standard units soon.
You have my thanks for the negotiations! I think that should be good for now, but we will make sure to report in about the food shipments.
Mr Aethulu, correct? Sorry about this delay for our relations - a bit of a war broke out and we've had to defend out country a little recently. But, things were quiet enough today so Karl and I managed to make good on our end of the preliminaries, hauling some of the Landwirtrechtbewegung's finest fresh food to you as a token of friendship.
Here and here are our Behemoths loaded with food for your base. I did not take any pictures of the actual transaction, as that might have been seen as espionage, but I'm sure if you go to your America Base you'll find plentiful real food for a change. Karl, who was with me, is a trained chef, and even showed the men on the base a few Rheinland culinary basics that should serve you well.
The food is only basic currently, we're afraid to report. Getting the real luxury food from Stuttgart is harder each day, and the quality deteriorates as the planet continues to be warped by new chemicals. But with, I hope, our continued and growing friendship and your reknowned technical competence, we can perhaps improve our own facilities on-base, and in the future perhaps be delivering luxury food to you instead.
Anyway, I hope the food was received warmly - we're more than glad to bring you much more in the future; it's quite hard to sell food in our current situation.
