To those it might concern,
The BPA and the BAF took a dispute regarding the Gaian destroyer called the Artio to the Royal Court a week ago. The Royal Court has assessed the matter and found that there was no irregularity in either party's conduct. However, the Royal Court has also overruled the order of Vice Admiral Oliver Myles. The Royal Court is aware that members of the Admiralty may make such decisions in situ, to circumvent the slow process of reaching a decision democratically for practical reasons. Nonetheless, we remind the Admiralty that the Royal Court has the authority to overrule such a decision after the slow process of reaching a decision democratically.
Hereby, the Artio is to be treated as a hostile entity like any other Gaian asset. Should the Armed Forces wish to negotiate with the captain, then such negotiations must take place outside of the jurisdiction of the Bretonian Charter of Interstellar Law, or the captain and the crew must first be arrested and trialed for their crimes.
